Exactly. No money, no ability to get him back in office or help him fleece the rubes, no information to protect for him... You never had a hope, man.

Oh - and it's not that you're too gay, it's that you're too obnoxious.

You weren't even a blip on his radar. Poor, no real status save as a laughingstock, and without any connections or power to a damn thing for him. He never even knew you existed, save when folks Tweeted about you, and if it penetrated Donnie's thick sense of self involvement, it would be to chuckle at that loser.

Accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt, so why would he want one?

It wouldn't surprise me either if Trump found the personal lobbying for a pardon "classless" and shiatcanned it.  I mean, I know the concept of the dude who probably regularly eats KFC while sitting on a gold toilet finding someone "classless" is odd, but Trump's weird like that.

The pardon list was pretty much what you'd expect from any run-of-the-mill corrupt politico.  A bunch of cronies and big donors.  So much for "draining the swamp."

This is a fallacy. There is no need to admit guilt in order to receive a pardon.

The best part was when Trump would laugh at his stupid facial hair without the slightest moment of self-reflection.

Speaking of Pardons, I'll be very curious to see what investigators turn up as to the selection of some of the folks from the NYC area.  Italian businessmen in the 80s who happen to own a few restaurants and had charged of financial fraud screams of potential mob connections.  The era of Trump Real Estate Development was rife with corruption and mob-involvement (great documentary on netflix about that btw - Fear City).

Especially if you look at that shiat heel  Kwame Kilpatrick.  The guy is corrupt as he is guilty, is supposedly broke and is a Democrat. So he can be of no help to Trump.   If all I read all day was fark, I would assume he was white.

In Joe's own words, he is ...broke as shiat..., so he probably couldn't afford a pardon.

I was very disappointed in that pardon. That ratbastard deserves to rot.

It doesn't carry water in the legal sense, but you can't accept forgiveness for something you haven't done.

Because of the implication.

Should I consider myself lucky that I only have a passing knowledge of this guy?  I've avoided looking into him as much as I did with Boo Hoo Honey Fart.

For people who were convicted unjustly and are pardoned... or people convicted of a politically targeted crime, or are convicted due to prejudice? Is there a connotation of guilt? Should one infer that the person is guilty?

I think the guilt attaches when we are applying it... based on our biases. Or when we know those farkers ARE guilty, and getting pardoned for corrupt reasons.

I would recommend to check it out.  If only for the complete insanity of it all.  It's a fairly short docuseries on Netflix.  I can almost promise you'll be entertained.

Shame the documentary cut every time Joe was an unhinged racist, or maybe he would've gotten that pardon.

I wonder if Trump, or any other ex-pres, had a moment right after the newb was sworn in where they're like, "oh, crap, I totally promised so-and-so that I'd pardon them..."  Is it too late?  I mean, it's just a few minutes, right?  Right?

Kwame had an extramarital affair, was linked to the death of a stripper, and was a tax dodger and charity robber, so I think it was just Trump appreciating a kindred spirit.

Here's what's become of the cats & zoo he signed over to Jeff Lowe to hide the assets from the court who'd ruled against him. At least 50 cats have disappeared within the last 9 months.
