"half-pound cookies commanding 11-hour waits"

So your vacation story is that you went to Disney and waited 11 hours for a cookie?

USA! USA! USA!

"...said Everglazed Managing Director Mike Crave."

Oh, come on. That's a made-up joke name, right?

While I firmly stand by the philosophy that I will try any food once, there are some things that give me pause. This is one of them.

I wish I could say that I've never seen a more American food. However I think this is just the top of the Muricaburger

I once ate a scoop of ice cream between two donut halves and that still seems like a bit much.

It needs bacon or ham. Maybe pulled pork?

Mr. Coffee Nerves: The next logical story here is "'Pirates of the Caribbean' ride closed when boats pile up due to fat asses sinking them mid-battle"

The ride was rebuilt a few years ago because people were getting so fat the boats would scrape bottom in the shallower areas and cause pile ups.

There was a diner near Yale that used yeasted donuts for breakfast sandwiches.  I don't remember if they were glazed or not ... because they were split and flipped inside out, so you were holding the inside of the donut which had been toasted on the griddle.

At least, I think it was a diner.  I was there in 2003, when the northeast power outage happened ... my brother took me there, as it was one of the few places that used gas for cooking and had an old mechanical register, so they didn't need electricity other than for lighting ... so I didn't really get a good look at the place.

It's probably really good.  I had a Krispy Kreme donut cheeseburger at the state fair once, and I'd get it again.
But hold the tomatoes and onions next time.  That crap didn't work with the donuts at all.

Which is actually a slightly better story than waiting 11 hours to go on a single ride.  At least the cookie should last more than a few minutes.

Probably would have been fun to try when I'm 19, but I'm nearly 37 and food shiat like this will give me diarrhea explosive enough to turn my commode into a Jackson Pollock.

Years ago, when I was a bartender at a brewpub, the kitchen staff used to have fun making me ridiculous staff meals, because I would eat almost anything.

Nothing will ever beat the time they made me a sandwich of a deep fried breaded pork cutlet topped with bacon between two apple donuts. It was delicious and I don't think I ate again for like two days.

Having said that, hard pass on the sandwich in tfa.

Had a Krispy Kreme cheeseburger a few years ago. Not something I'd have every year, but it was tasty, and I'm sure with the right donut and cheese this would be too.

Lemme lose my quarantine 15 before I try it, however

For 7 USD, as per the article, it's sure awesome to get 4 Kraft singles.

What does it mean that "submitter can't wait", unless he went straight to Disney World, he could?

Or well, since the recipe is just a donut with Kraft singles, it's really easy to make yourself.

I'd try one...but I don't think I'd pay the undoubtedly absurd prices the Mouse is going to charge.

Totally eat one for free, though.

So, went to Disney World a few months after Frozen came out; early May for Star Wars Celebration. The missus and I were walking around EPCOT and saw this line coming out of the Norwegian Pavilion and going for another 2 or 3 pavilions. Turns out, the Norwegian Pavilion was where Disney had set up the Princess Encounters with Anna & Elsa. Makes sense. But, it was all men. Literally hundreds of men waiting in line for the princess thing. And, no, it's not as skeevy as you all are thinking right now. A Cast member explained to us that these were all fathers, standing in line while the rest of the family did EPCOT. Average wait time: 6 hours. Outdoors, no shade, in late spring/early summer Florida weather.

Upon actually read TFA, I'm SHOCKED this thing is only $7.

I'd eat one, probably the most calories per penny within a 5 mile radius.

I think the worst thing Disney has on their menu is the warm sake at Epcot Center. Easily the worst portion of drinking around the world. Get a sapporo instead.

Yes. But the good news is you stopped posting Q stuff to Facebook for a week while you filled it with pictures of your fat family's forced smiles.

Well it's USA, so there's not much consumer protection in that regards.

Shrug, some people like it.
