Their early work was a little too new wave for my taste. But when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost.

He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

I don't know what i was expecting but that was actually kind of cool.  Weird

Bill McClintock does some pretty good mash-ups. His WHAM! vs Slayer series is fun.

I think I'd rather hear the reverse version. Huey's vocals on the Enter Sandman track.

That's kind of awesome.

Andy Rehfeldt is one of the best on YouTube at creating unexpected song crossovers. He keeps the original track's vocals and then re-records every instrumental track himself, in a completely different genre.

Other favorites of his are the bossa nova cover of "The Trooper" and his funk version of "Man in a Box." Oh, and the reggae version of "Detroit Rock City."

Oh, that's nice.

Yeah, I subbed his channel quite a while ago. It then led me down a rabbit hole of youtube mashers (like DJ Cummerbund) until I found Neil Cicierega, the senpai of the mash-up.

(granted, Bustin is more a remix than a mash-up, but his mash-ups are demented genius)

That's awesome. I've always said Metallica should have a horn section. Horns are made out of metal.

I want to hear a vicious flute solo in the middle of Seek and Destroy. That would rock.
