An implosion date had been set for Jan. 29, but Small told the Press of Atlantic Cityit would be pushed back to some time in February.

Oh how I wish it could have been scheduled to coincide with Trump's eviction departure from DC tomorrow.

Like everything else with t****, even the button to do the demolition was going to be fake.

Fake

Is there a filter for the name Trump now, or is that just your thing?

I don't want it to be a button.

I want it to be a giant TNT plunger that you push down on to detonate the building like in the cartoons.

Aww, they hurt the conservative billionaire's fee fees.

Did they?

Sounds more like "Um, we set this in motion and since it doesn't look like it's actually going to happen, we're going to be the one kicking in the donation."

$175k is going to the charity this "auction" was going to benefit anyway.

/Icahn, as much as I dislike him, is 1000 times better than Trump

That's nothing money to him.  I got the impression he didn't like the Trump embarrassment factor, and blamed it on safety concerns.  I could be wrong.  He was an early Trump donor.

You're not wrong.  Note the later portions of the article where they mention they were just going to set it up so the person was nowhere near the danger zone of the demo, pushing a fake button that didn't even do anything, etc.  Claiming "Safety concerns" on that is lame and obvious bullshiat..  What, are you worried they're going to sprain their finger pressing the big fake button?  Fark you, that much money your lawyers ought to be able to come up with better excuses for your butthurt, pal.

What safety concern is there if one person presses the button or another?  Is there a lot of training involved?

I am convinced they would have raised way more money than Icahn's donation, so he can get farked.  If he wanted the publicity to be favorable he could have given them a million and never noticed the difference save for a slight warming of his cold black heart.
