We heard you like to Sato, so now you can Sato while you Sato in a Sato.

It's detuned.  Even then I doubt it will last a full year unless there's absolutely nothing to run into.

Now everyone can be Satofficial.

Sounds pretty cool. I've heard F1 cars are incredibly difficult to drive: huge HP to weight ratio pushing the center gravity as opposed to what you're used to, which is low HP to weight ratio pulling the center of gravity. If I found myself in that part of globe with an extra $1400 to blow I'd be game.

I wonder how this actually handles given they've switched out the F1 engine for something about 200bhp lower.

I mean they kinda had to, there aren't many people alive who can keep a modern F1 engine running and where would you find the parts?

No, that's an even number of Satoes, so it's still technically a Sato.

And they replaced the screaming V10? Wtf is the point then?

600 hp pushing less than 2000 lbs, driver included? I think I can find a way to have fun in that...

You would be Satoing in an F1 car, so still technically Maldonadoing.  Satonadoing.

So you can possibly drive the thing without stalling? So it doesn't take a a garage full of master+ mechanics to rebuild the engine after a single track day?

To get the aero to work correctly and have an ability to control the car, you have to be traveling faster than most individuals are comfortable pushing it and to get the temperatures in the tires and brakes to be able to perform.

Ok, sure. Then I'd like to squeeze into one of Sato's indy winners but only if they replace the motor with the flat 4 from my subi. I can keep that running and it doesn't need a rebuild.

I'm saying if you want to do it, go ahead. But part of the experience (especially with F1) is the sound of 10s of thousands of meth'd out hornets coming from the rear.

On second thought, it might make sense on some oval US supertrack built for restricter plate racing.  As Daedalus points out, those things really aren't built for mortal drivers, but you might be able to take a corner  designed for less "aero friendly" cars at speeds within the F1 envelope.  Still a hair-raising experience, but it goes with the sound of the methed out hornets.

From what I can tell, it'll be running about 12,000 rpm, so probably similar to this:

And being detuned, and with twenty-five years of technology and design upgrades, it'll probably run for about 100,000 miles

/ I might be exaggerating that last bit

What happens if we put JJ Yeley behind the wheel of this thing?

The Universe would have to protect itself by spawning an alternate timeline where that did not happen, allowing this one to be pulled into the singularity that would create then containing the remnants in a Klein bottle stored on the underside of a Möbius strip.
