We wouldn't want one of the slightly promising positions to go to a black guy...

Especially what with the lack of coordinators in the Conference Championship games who are...

I mean, that might open the door to opportunity. And we especially can't have that.

What a generally ugly way to approach life, man.

It's like having a death pool, but only of people you have no reason to dislike. "Hey, the second someone gets hired, let's talk about what a failure they're gonna be and look forward to them being fired, based on knowing almost nothing about them!"

Poor Dan Campbell doesn't stand a chance. The Lions are cursed and so he's my pick. Unless of course the Lions are going to full rebuild mode. Then he gets a pass for a couple of years while they suck more than they normally do.

/Go Lions ... *sigh*

Yup.  Robert Saleh is practically a poster boy for WASPs.

I see these pictures of Lawrence and they just seem to give off heavy duty Shane Falco vibes.

The first Lions coach to win a playoff game should be a first ballot HoF pick. The first to go to the Super Bowl should just be added to the hall, even while he's still coaching.

Who else was hired?
What color were they?
What percentage of the players in the league are non-white?
When was the league fully integrated? 1962
In 48 years have NFL front offices finally gotten around to approximating the race of NFL players?

No, they have not. Because after 48 years owners still believe whites are better than blacks at running things.
