Hutton Orbital has two rare goods, Centauri Gin and Hutton Mugs.  When Jaques Station got lost 21,000ly from the bubble, I ran an emergency shipment of both out to his bar.

I was part of the Dove Enigma repair flotilla.  Cargo 'Conda with 264 tons of meta alloys, 11 hours of jumping later... successful dropoff.

Well, that was a fun few minutes.  I'll check back and see if they add that option.

Been playing the hell out of Elite Dangerous.  Really easy to progress.  Not even a month in, and i got a billion credits, and starting to modify my ship

took a ride aboard a fleet carrier to Colonia, and found a double neutron star system, and some undiscovered Earth like worlds.  The Carrier is going to go to Sagittarius A, and "Beagle point" the furthest point in the Galaxy from Sol, layovers of 6 days at each stop

Yeah the demo felt just right for my Steam Controller.

Spend monies on the full thing and ... goddamn it, I'm going to spend a farking weekend trying to get this shiat smoothed out. Either barely moving or zipping by targets. Also, Everspace 1 was A LOT more forgiving on picking up goodies and drops, but combat in 2 seems easier..

/subby
//took a while to adjust the controls on Everspace 1 on my Steam Controller -- and that was on GoG, Got the game free with Witcher 3, and played maybe 10x more Everspace than Witcher 3.

Strangely, I could not get into Elite. Maybe because it felt like it was throwing too much detail at you at once.

Will give it another shot one of these days. I liked it better than Witcher 3 honestly, which I don't get the appeal, and I'm an Elder Scrolls addict from Daggerfall days.

Neat - call me when it's done. I've farking had it with "early access" bullshiat.

Yeah, I've made a couple trips there before.  Funny that it takes so long since it gives me enough time to aim the ship in its direction and get a few chores done.

/out somewhere above Sgr A* now, on an exploration trip.  Need to start playing again but I've been distracted by other games right now.  Elite alone made it worth getting an Oculus Rift.

Tired of Elite?

Nope. Got my fleet carrier out 3000 light years past Colonia, carving GRCooper on a big, unexplored bubble.

Had an epiphany last night - I don't have one of every ship? WTF? I'll probably head back to the bubble before too long and correct that. Might have to do some Fed grinding - don't recall the rank reqs for their ships

I hope they fixed the controls.  I wanted to like Everspace.  I'm a huge roguelike fan and it just seemed right up my alley.  But I couldn't get passed the control scheme.

Just out of curiosity, what felt off with Everspace's controls? They felt pretty natural/standard with WASD to move and mouse to point direction to me, in the spirit of games like Descent and whatnot.

I played a decent amount of elite early on, then got back in for a while when they added core mining. Got out, then picked up a used Oculus from a buddy, but still haven't ever reinstalled it.  It was a bit of a struggle remembering all my keybinds on the HOTAS that I'd be worried about screwing up royally if I put the VR on and can't find all my toggles on the X-56.

/I swear I put my landing gear around here somewhere...

Fed; Rear Admiral - 'vette (beatstick)
Empire; Duke - Cutter (better for hauling / mining)
There are instructions to make grinding those pretty easy... as in ~8-10 hours of work each flying from station to station hauling goods or courier.

Ya know, I spent upwards of about a billion about 2 years ago shipping my vette to colonia.  I only came back to the bubble last march to rank up for the cutter.  Got it, mined, made cash, got bored, went back out into the black for crystal shards.  Filled up on 'rare' materials. (i mean come on... find a field of crystal shards and 'rare' no longer is.   Came back for a week or 2 in july to get out exploring again. Back near Prai Hypoo.

I find I am more of an explorer than fighter.  My problem, though? I spent so much time out in the way way black hunting for guardian ruins, that no longer being able to find new ones kinda bereft me of the excitement.  Yes, I did discover one of the what? 5 sites? out near that nebula.  Basically I have spent the last 2 and a half years on and off in that damn nebula searching for more ruins.  I still don't get it.  5 ruins.  No beacons. No settlements.  I still cannot get myself to believe that is all there is out there.  At this point though, I know there were a few carriers out there in july.  Every system within 500lyr, if not more, should be mapped at this point.

And I'm on the PS4.  finding other players is more or less a wasteland.

It's been a while since I loaded it up, but I want to say the Pitch and Yaw were backwards. I honestly can't recall exactly, but I remember you couldn't change them.

I will definitely put this on my wishlist in Steam. Due to recent events I refuse to purchase any game until it is fully released and out for at least three months so any Shenanigans with the development process can be ironed out before I drop one penny on a new game.

Cdpr broke my heart and hopefully they do a No Man's Sky level rework on cyberpunk.

Ive had this wishlisted for a while because they turned down Epic.

Is there Hotas support?

That is primarily what I am looking for, I want to actually use my joystick instead of pretending a mouse is an effective controller for dog fighting.

No Man's Sky's fundamentals were fine, it was content that was lacking and promised features.  They need to do a FF XIV.

I find I enjoy Squadrons the most when I play with friends.

When I go in with PUGs it's fun but just not as exciting.

Exactly, CP 2077 already has a rich and beautiful world. There are a ton of features and core mechanics missing, just like NMS haf. If they pull a Hello Games treatment and put CP back in the oven that will hopefully result in a richer game.

Other than like, haircuts/plastic surgery they're not missing, they're just bad.  They need a 2 year rework like FF XIV pulled off.  Braindead npc ai in combat and out, pathetic police/wanted system, worst version of radiant/random side quests ever (which absolutely has to be fixed if they hope to eventually release the multiplayer hub version they said was still in the works for the future) consisting of set random encounters that repeat far too frequently like instead of bethesdas radiant quests they went with fallout's special encounters without understanding what 'special' meant.  Broken crafting system.  Moderately boring loot system, a sin in a looter shooter.  The world is pretty, and the story is pretty good. That's it.  The core fundamental mechanics of almost everything are very flawed.
