Look at this real set of lines from the real script, which even correctly uses two spaces after a period, just like I would, as though I simply fabricated this dialogue in WordPad and then copy-pasted an image of it onto this particular website.

Definitely written by a man of culture.  Definitely written by a man who loves this country.

I want to say he started out trying to write screenplays in Hollywood but couldn't sell anything so he shifted to hard right political commentary.

As one does.

You know who else wrote screenplays in Hollywood?

Nobody would pay to see that except wannabe school shooters.

I guess Ben's having trouble getting it up since there's been so few real life school shootings with the kids doing remote learning.

How much of the movie is dedicated to telling us about how tall the shooters were?

That article took one hell of a turn. Ben is, quite literally, turning a blind eye to a serial rapist he keeps hiring because reasons.

Movie sounds like a really tone deaf Die Hard knockoff.

It's how Breitbart started. His adopted parents were both studio execs, he tried to follow in their footsteps, flamed out, then started a blog whining that his political beliefs were why he wasn't the next Daryl Zanuck, instead of you know, not being talented.

I'm sure QAnon will get right on bringing down Ben Shapiro's production company that is stuffed with elitist Hollywood pedophiles any second now.

Yep.  Any second now.

I have no idea who these people are, but the article is all about them being sexist dicks to the crew, not the exploitation content. Seems a perfectly standard horror movie premise though and hardly worth clutching your pearls over.

Ben shapiro, a guy who directed some bad zombie flicks and a Shia LaBoof flick, a pervy co-producer of A Ghost Story. Wow, this is going to be Manos level ineptitude.

It was because typewriters used monospace fonts; it's no longer necessary, it looks like shiat and it makes editing a pain in the ass.

Trailer is on Imdb.

Yep. It's "Die Hard" in a high school, with the John McClane part as a student who was raised with guns to satisfy the conservative Rambo fantasy.

Reminds me of an interview Matthew Lillard gave about a plotline for Scream 3 that was abandoned. In the initial script, his character from the first movie survived, was in prison, and had developed a Richard Ramirez-type fan club of goth kids who he coerced into various attacks on a school and murders of students. Lillard said after the wave of school shootings in '97 and '98, Bob and Harvey Weinstein deemed the script too tasteless and trashed it.

It your movie's basic plot is considered too tasteless for Harvey Farking Weinstein, maybe it's not a good idea to move forward with it.

Cinestate, a Dallas-based movie studio specializing in "populist" films for the Trump crowd like Dragged Across Concrete, a nasty piece of police brutality apologia starring Mel Gibson.

Pump your brakes, buddy.  Cinestate is responsible for S Craig Zahler's films(which Dragged Across Concrete is one of) and regardless of the rest of that shiat, he's a pretty solid bleak horror director.  Cinestate also owns Fangoria.  Bone Tomahawk is a fantastic film and a great turn by Kurt Russell and is no way a "Trump crowd" film.  It's indie horror

How dare you use a SEMICOLON to discuss the aesthetics of writing.  It's BARBARIC.  Perhaps even VIOLENT.

wow. that ... that didn't make it into the final cut.
the final movie was pretty good for a b-movie action flick. It was better than a lot of big budget ones too, but you could tell it was pretty low budget.

Not for nothing, but before he was the #1 most well known sex creep on the planet Harvey Weinstein was a very vocal gun control advocate. Not saying gun control is wrong because he liked it, I'm all for it. But him nixing a movie because of its portrayal of guns isn't that big of a shock

True and the Daily Beast was proffering rave reviews of the flick until they found out that someone conservative pushed it to market.

Well it seems to me that it was par for the course -horrible writing, illegal working conditions, sex predator/producer- for a BMovie and no one had any problems with it until that guy Sharpi reared his head. Who is he?
