Didn't Facebook "partner" with Cambridge Analytica to do pretty much the same thing? Or am I remembering that wrong/inaccurately?

"A Facebook spokesperson declined to provide a copy of the lawsuit filed in Portugal because it contains personal data, the sharing of which could be deemed a privacy violation by local authorities."

Sources say the Facebook Spokesperson was later quoted as saying "PSYCH!" and offering user profiles in bulk for $.23 each.
