You mean besides all the cops that held the doors? The windows just broke themselves?  Police liked playing tag as y'all chased them?

Y'all took pictures the whole way, you know.

2021-01-17 6:11:42 AM
Oh, so you 'walked right in'.. and did you wonder what happened to Congress?  Why they fled for their lives?

2021-01-17 6:17:02 AM
I'm gonna wait for them to walk out their front door and then make my way into their home. Then I'll claim no one said I couldn't, and the door was just open.

Ahhh...."At will" state. Love it.

Nothing makes me laugh harder than Republicans that lose their job and then discover what that term means.

Am I going to have to try to dig up the video with the cop at the Capitol door saying "you are not allowed to go in there," over and over again while everyone streamed past them? Some Farker must have that to hand.

Nobody cries harder than a Republican when the Invisible Hand of the Free Market slaps them across the mouth.

fark her.

And for those who say the tree of liberty must be watered with blood from time to time, fine. We'll use yours.

That's what we do. We are Americans.

So tearing down the barricades, overrunning the police, and breaking windows and doors to get in is "nobody said no"?

WTF?

Fta: "For all you people talking s*** about what happened at the Capitol, you need to be silent if you weren't there.'"

Um... how about no?

How about you have the right to remain silent and law abiding folks have the right to talk shiat about the seditious mob of rw extremists from now until the end of time?

Win-win if you ask me.

And yet there you were, doing precisely that. You're an embarrassment to Hoosiers nationwide, you ninny.

If she thinks losing her job sucks wait until the FBI gets around to prosecuting her for trespass. Federal convictions have negative results on future job prospects. To say the least.

What's the response to this sort of thing again?

I don't really like her description of the FBI phone call. If they really talked to her and she admitted being in the Capitol why was this interview not being conducted in a jail cell? Unless she was told she wouldn't hear from them again because they forwarded her information and warrant to local authorities, I'm pretty pissed off.

2021-01-17 8:54:40 AM
"We just walked up the steps and walked right in. There was no resistance. I would have felt it was wrong if they were telling me, 'Don't enter.' There was never law enforcement there that said you can't enter here. And if we had ever met any of that resistance, we would have never gone in," Vinson said.

The Antifas snuck into the capitol early in the morning and took down all of the "restricted access" and "do not enter" signs just to make Republican Patriots look bad. Open your eyes!

To be fair tho, she was probably, like, at the back of the mob after the cops had fled for their lives.

I wouldn't want to lose my job and be unemployable in the industry I work in.

I mean I'd probably lose my home, my car and all my toys and fun stuff. Going to prison also sounds awful, imagine all the rights we withhold from convicted felons.

While Vinson still believes the results of the election are fraudulent, she hopes Inauguration Day can be peaceful.
"Those threatening to execute people, that's not acceptable at all," Vinson said.

Gee, thank you so much for your kind accession to the notion that those of us who disagree politically with Ms. Lori Vinson of Morganfield KY should NOT be summarily executed on the National Mall next week. I'm really feeling the outreach with her olive branches toward the opposition here.

She was fired for being a moron and openly believing the fraudulent votes lie. The hospital was probably just looking for a good reason to fire her for being stupid but not quite dumb enough to cause an accident...yet. Ask her fellow nurses what they think of her.

She was also a nurse.  I'm gonna take a wild guess she was also maskless while cramming into this superspreader insurrection.

Proof is proof.

They're likely prioritizing the violent guys, the fighters, the quasi military douches, and the ones seen hunting for congressmen & staff.

The derpy dips that streamed in just to trespass & gawk but otherwise weren't breaking/vandalizing are easy roundups & trespass convictions. Most of those idiots are scared AF right now and have lives/livelihoods they don't want torn apart. Once they talk with a lawyer and he explains to them how screwed they are they'll take whatever the DOJ is offering & hope to put it behind them.

Which cop? The one flashing an okay sign and opening the gate? Selfie cop?

Narrow it down.

2021-01-17 9:06:12 AM
Oh yeah, I'm seeing some insurrectionists (or their defenders online at least) try to spin this as a "peaceful free speech protest" that wasn't violent, wasn't destructive, and was just some citizens insisting to get into the chambers of Congress to make their discontent known in a peaceful fashion.

I saw a couple of people even liken it to the demonstrations at the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, when about 70 people were arrested for shouting things or otherwise trying to disrupt the hearings through loud and disruptive, but nonviolent, behavior.

. . .they really are trying to spin this as a totally peaceful, nonviolent protest that is absolutely no different, better in fact, than any protest the left has done in the last 4 years. . .instead of an outright coup attempt.

"Lori Vinson said she made the journey to the nation's Capitol on Jan. 6 to "support President Trump on the stolen, fraudulent votes."

Her 1st mistake was believing this without evidence - as a nurse.

Her 2nd mistake was trying to blow smoke up people's a** with that "wha? What did I do?" bulls***

In light of the situation maybe nurses in the area should, I dunno, unite in some way to bargain collectively for rights and workplace standards? Just a crazy thought, I know.

Remember when protestors allegedly breaking a homeowner's gate was adequate justification for the homeowner's to threaten to shoot the protestors?  I guess in this case one of them did get shot for breaking a window, but there still should have been worse threats and consequences.

THIS. Whoever called her better be prepared for their own repercussions if they truly said they wouldn't contact her again.

Her and her husband broke the law plain and simple and the 2 of them should be prosecuted.

The incoming FBI director is going to have to investigate every FBI employee to see where their loyalties truly lie. With the Constitution or against it. They have violated their oaths of their employment and to the country if they don't prosecute every offender, no matter how small the offense, along with their own obstruction.
