(CNN)   That's an insane amount of money for a murder house. They may need to slash the price, like 40 times   (cnn.com) divider line

It needs to be sold at a suspiciously low amount so an unsuspecting/skeptical family moves in and has a traditional haunting experience.

Real estate agent says she has several interested buyers.......never heard that one one before.

Looks like a nice house. It probably needs better insulation, though. shiat being haunted isn't a real thing.

It would be a great place to buy, then run a scam about how you were "haunted" you parlay into a book and movie.

I'd buy it if I had the money and was stuck having my in-laws live with me. You know, to keep them in line.

There's a famous murder house on my street that was on the market when I was buying. I was ok with the murders, but I couldn't deal with the 80s kitchen.

I've always ben fascinated by this case.  Read a few books and watched a few documentaries.  A few years back I took a bus trip with a local group from Brooklyn to tour the house where the murders took place which is now a bed and breakfast, the museum in town which has exhibits on the murders, saw the house in Falls River where Lizzy moved to after her acquittal, and the cemetery where the family is buried.  The staff person at the museum was neutral as to who committed the murders.  After all that, I didn't guess that it was Lizzy Borden who was the subject from your headline subby.

But before the listing was even done
She raised the price to 41.

I'd be interested in it as a B&B only because I could call it "The Boardin' House".

There was a murderer house in my last neighborhood. There was nothing otherwise interesting about the house, though.

Read the hilarious lawsuit Stambovsky v Ackley.  The judge declared the house "haunted by law."

If I had the money, I'd buy it just to turn it into a family planning center.

My new neighbors just bought the house adjacent to me for a good price. I haven't had the heart to tell them yet that four people have died in there due to murder, natural causes. and overdoses in the past dozen years. It's a nice place really but I'm not stepping foot in there

I'm not sure I'd pay $2M for -all- of Fall River, as the the town is a cesspit.

/Taught alternative HS there years ago
//But at least it's not New Bedford, the next town over
///Because NB is a heroin-infested cesspit

It's fall river.  It's not haunted, there's a meth cooker squatting in the attic.
Also, no way that place is worth more than $400k.
