There's an old joke. God says "You've been a good man. I will grant your desire. However, your brother will receive twice whatever you get." Man replies "Make me blind in one eye."

That's who thinks D2S is still doing a good job.

I'm not sure what is confusing with that. Trump says Trump is doing the best job ever. These people believe everything Trump says without question. Therefore Trump is doing the best job ever.

Trump can't even get the simple stuff right. He wanted to fix the low postage from China to USA and managed to get an agreement done and then nothing happened from that even thorough he had one of his stooges in charge of the post office.

I dropped the n and d in and. Typing on a phone without my glasses. I missed the autocorrect. Other than that it was fine. Headline says people still think Trump is doing a good job. My comment said: Trump tells them he is [doing a good job, understood] and they believe anything he says.

Obviously, Dump's pathological apathy toward anyone not named Dump hasn't resulted in enough deaths for these troglodytes. 400,000 people in less than a year? Clearly, we need to do better. Oh, and Nancy Pelosi/Chuck Schumer/Joe Biden hasn't been assassinated yet, so that's another failure.

Trump supporters are oxygen thieves.

LOL - just noticed what the buckle says. So, if he wears it in the front, his gut would hang over too much to read its inspiring message.

It is a common thing for belt buckle guys, especially mechanics. The big metal buckles scratch the paint on the pickup fender if worn in front.
Yes, there are buckles made to not do that but they do not carry the all important social commentary.

So, what, he's the last season of Game of Thrones for a certain percent of his former diehard fans?

Some people are in so deep that admitting Trump farked up is admitting their whole world view is wrong. They are too weak to handle that trauma. So don't expect them to change even after Trump is gone.

For all the shiat that went down the last 4 years, where his approval stayed steadfast at 41%, I'm impressed the number has finally dropped below 30%.

It's still a scary large number of people, but the progress is significant and encouraging nonetheless.

Allowing complicit organizations like Fox news to get away with lies and hatred for decades under the guise of news was the beginning of all this shiat.

If you track the number of people who believe in Area-51, alien abductions, and other bullshiat, it's something like 25-30% of the population.  Turns out that literally one in four people are beyond redemption, and a functioning society sees fit to sideline those people as kooks, and (of utmost importance) put barriers in the way of them becoming an organized movement.

To be fair, that 29% sees Trump's job as paralyzing and undermining the federal government, and he isn't doing a half bad job at that.

I thought that might happen as he lost power. Republicans didn't like him. They liked the power he represented, because it made them feel powerful through association.

Now that he's neutered, he makes them feel powerless.  Which they don't like at all. The only way they could feel betrayed is him losing power.  This will make them turn on him with a ferocious intensity.

I dont think he will have a powerful base to run on in 24. I think within a week, he will be a pariah, even to Republicans. I think within a month, he will be stuffed down the memory hole, and you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who admits they supported him.

Bullying people over tiny mistakes is a lame hobby that adds nothing of value, it just makes the world a shiattier place and spreads ill will.

One in three people being either:

A. Terrible people
B. Incapable of admitting to mistakes
C. Both (it's a common combination)

Fits fairly well with my experience, particularly from time spent in retail where you have interactions with a broad section of society imposed on you.

And if anyone in his awful family thinks they can run in his place, that's not happening either.  In fact, my guess would be that D2S and I'M ERIC are being set up to take the brunt of what is coming for the Trumps.
