Well at that time it would have already been too late.

Cancel sessions, why not everyone who voted not to wear masks, but still attend.  There is nothing to worry about right?

20 years from now, CRACKED will do a listicle of "16 things you would not believe people actually did during the COVID19 Pandemic" and this will not make the list. It will be among the 56 items nominated by a bunch of 60 year old millenials all rushing to create GIFS, competing for a 5000 dollar prize. It will be enough to buy a Big Mac, basically. Rudy Giuliani's antics will be particularly hilarious to future generations, so his GIFs will take the top three spots.

CRACKED will be the only "news" website left from our era. FARK will link to it as often as it links to Twitter today.

That is what >my< crystal ball is telling me, anyway.

Jeebus. Wear a mask while out in public during a pandemic like you wear pants while out in public every other farking day. It's exactly the same level of "freedom". Can I go pants free in the Missouri House on any given Wednesday? Is that cool? Well DURING A PANDEMIC wearing masks turns out to save even more lives than pants. It's a scientific farking fact.

Why can't a single one of these farkers explain why masks are anti-freedom but womens' unclothed nipples are somehow anti their freedom too?

*sigh* This is exactly the kind of thing the lawmakers in my state (WI) are doing. The governor tries to enact a mask mandate, the Republishiats shoot it down. How long is it going to take before these idiots get the message?

Narrator: "Never."

I heard about this earlier.  (click)  Yeah, they're showing people shaking hands.. what do you think you're doing?  Shaking hands.. Just say no to hand shaking.

We shouldnt be tolerating these bioterrorists. They should be sent straight to prison, especially politicians who vote to kill the people they represent.

At this point, I'm just going to lean into this state's stupidity and push for our own Fark tag.

It'll make it easier to know which threads I need to say "Fark Hawley" in.

At this point, if you voted for any GOP politician in the most recent election, your voting rights should be revoked.

After my sister's family moved, my 13 year old niece just starting in a new school.. a little rough at first, when they didn't have a tablet computer ready for her like everyone else had.  But after only a week, they announced that one of her classmates came down with COVID, and she'll have to stay home for 2 weeks and hope that she didn't catch it.  (sigh)

I get that they hate Americans and want us to die.  But shouldn't self preservation take over at some point? It appears they're more than happy to off themselves along with the rest of us.

Why would the actions of deep red missourah be the fault of democrats?
Republicans have proven they are scientifically and mathematically illiterate, I guess you're trying to convince me they're meme-illiterate as well...

Is the next post the one where you tell everyone you were just pretending to have congenital defects?

The guy who invented leaded gas drank a glass of his gasoline to show it was safe.  This was AFTER workers at the plant started getting sick and some dying. There are no lengths some people will go to prove they are right.

Thomas Midgley. He didn't drink it but poured it on his hands and sniffed it. This cause him severe lead poisoning, nearly killing him. He had already suffered from lead poisoning from earlier work in the plants. He knew it was poisonous but the money for him and GM was more important. The dude later pioneered Freon and CFCs. He probably had a larger negative effect on the planet than any other single human.

Whenever they start talking about "business" or "the economy" you can be sure it comes before life and health.

The Dog Ate My Homework: There's a reason why it's called the show me again state.

Pretty much. It's claimed in modern times that the state got the show me nickname by demanding proofs of claims. In actuality it got the nickname because their people were considered so dumb nationally--like when building the Intercontinental Railroad--and didn't have basic work skills, were always saying "Show me."

No
It's a confederate state and they are worried about RWNJ's attacking the Capitol surrounding the inauguration.

It's full of republicans, as usual, and they know their idiot kinsfolk will just listen to hate radio and drive over to Jefferson City and start shooting at people wearing neckties and polished shoes.

Hawley > god > Budweiser > felony assault.

The brain drain is real. My family is from there and not a single college educated member of the family stayed after graduation in my generation. Those who didn't make it to college have also managed to migrate to either Oklahoma or Texas. Anyone with a work ethic seems to be getting the hell out of the state.

That would be fair this is all in the north western corner around Kansas City. I don't know much about St. Louis, and the Ozarks have been full of racist morons since they were colonized.

Now, I want some reporter to go to these folks after this kind of thing happens and say "Now, don't you feel stupid? What the hell were you thinking?" just to see what kind of response they get.

I know it will be like Aasif Mandvi's interview with that guy who admitted he was a white supremacist or something and Mandvi said "you know we're going to air this, right?" and the guy just nodded; but still.

I think St. Louis was once the 6th largest American city.. long ago.

Then there was that one very boneheaded move.. 'We make our money from the river trade!  We don't want those darned railroads running through here, too.  Let Chicago have those!'

Everything these people do, say, post, is to make libs mad. They say "COVID is no worse than the flu.", but only because it gets libs all up in arms. They KNOW it's more dangerous than the flu they KNOW it has long lasting effects they just value making us mad over anything else.

They are the definition of bad-faith actors. They've proven that. Someone the other day said on here about McConnell's statement regarding Trump something to the effect of "all this proves is that Mitch thought it useful to open his face hole and make sounds." I found that insightful.

They don't actually value anything they say they value. They don't follow any of the rules they demand that others play by. I can't stress this enough, republicans will rationalize anything. A republican could rape your kid and the 29% that still supports Trump would say "It's god's will." Then go off on a rant about pedophile ring democrats in pizza parlors.

Game theory tells us to stop cooperating with people like this and recognize them publicly as bad faith actors and ostracize them. If you cooperate or play by rules they aren't going to play by you are rewarding their bad-faith behaviors.
