Yes, this is true.  But he also attracts the most terrible people around him.  He's like a magnet for awfulness.

Trump was supposed to have given a DNA sample in this case months ago... did he ever do that?

I love that he will run out of excuses for delaying this case and many others in just 5 days.

This motherfarker is going to trial.

He didn't drain the swamp so much as turn it into a lake of sewage.

Trump turned the swamp into Lake Karachay.

In addition to being charged with fomenting insurrection he should be charged with 27 cases of rape.

This has been known for decades. He shiatty human being-ness was a big selling point for a lot of people.

He is also a failure as a businessman.  Do not forget that.

Our legal system has to find a better way of adjudicating rape trials than allowing the defense to impugn the victim.

It's not something you see generally in a murder or robbery trial.

The Guardian reported that the liaison, Heidi Stirrup

This lady's reputation is about to spread far and wide, gyno that for sure. Her mam and paps are gonna be so disappointed.

That's why he thought he'd have nothing to lose with an insurrection.

"The Guardian reported that the liaison, Heidi Stirrup, asked the unnamed lawyer for dirt on Carroll that could be relayed to Trump's private legal team shortly after a judge shot down the Justice Department's bid to serve as Trump's defense in the lawsuit last October."

What kinda woman would do that to another woman?

The only redeeming think about Trump is that he is so obvious about his stupidity and awfulness.  He was a cartoon villain in a poorly written screenplay.  It is beyond comprehension that anyone would take him seriously as a leader, even stupid and awful people should want better.

When a reporter asked him about this accusation he raped her, his response was, "She's not my type."

Says everything you need to know about him

That's certainly something an innocent person would do.

The nice thing being, in a couple days, the DoJ will be out and Donnie will have to foot his own legal bills for the case. Given his propensity for not paying up I think it might be a bit difficult to obtain representation until he hands over a bunch of cash.

I would have guessed Lake Titicaca. The name seems to fit.

Trump turned the swamp into Lake Karachay.

I see:
Starting in 1951, the Soviet Union used Karachay as a dumping site for radioactive waste from Mayak, the nearby nuclear waste storage and reprocessing facility.

Our entire legal system does this to rape victims, and it has for generations.

Trump is a monster, but he's also merely a symbol of the sex-negative misogyny that surrounds rape cases.  This doesn't at all begin and end with him, and it knows no political boundaries.  It certainly wasn't a Republican who drugged and raped me about fifteen years ago.

Essentially saying, "I would rape a girl if I found her attractive enough."

Trump is merely the latest example of America's unwillingness/inability in maintaining any accountability (aka "purity testing" according to some Farkers).

I mean shiat, the week we should have been discussing impeaching Trump for his phone call the the GA rep basically telling him to commit voter fraud we had to impeach him for insurrection.

JFC, it's not that he's being impeached twice he should be impeached thrice.

If there was more time they should staple those fraud charges to the insurrection charges.

It's funny, thinking about draining a swamp. When I was a kid a nearby slough was drained. There were washing machines, barrels, a model T, and lots of plant muck, dead fish, and mud. You can't build anything there. You can't develop it. It's just a bunch of garbage. Fill it back up and give the ducks somewhere to float around. You can fish for bluegill. Watch snapping turtles, enjoy the hum of those god damn mosquitos.

There's a reason for the "selling swampland in Florida" is a trope. It worthless land. Let it be a swamp. Farking huckster to the last.

Everything this "man" does, is a swirling, circular, swamp of nothingness. Even this short, concise, "report" contains so much bullshiat, that it's hard to parse.

Whenever I see anyone describe Trump in glowing terms, heck or even just as if he is a regular person, I baffle at their complete lack of awareness. It is like someone holding up shiat covered broken glass and trying to talk about it as if it were food.

Karma Chameleon: This has been known for decades. He shiatty human being-ness was a big selling point for a lot of people.

A lot of the people that voted for him knew exactly who he was. They aspire to be just like him. A failure in every aspect of life, and yet able to live and surround himself with the good life. They have already achieved the first part, and are miserable for it. They are hoping they can get the second part without working for it.

Swamps actually used to protect against hurricanes and created buffer zones where people and animals could thrive if they knew what they were doing.

Draining the swamp has led to actual human deaths because some yahoo didn't know how ecosystems worked. So there's that part of the metaphor...
