It's possible that the most compelling evidence that Trump directed the insurrection is that it failed.

Trump, the world's worst mob boss.

2021-01-15 10:57:16 AM
Add this to the huge pile of evidence that Trump should have been aware of the potential for violence even before he gave the speech on 1/6, and is therefore culpable.

/Luckily, the madness will stop once he's out of office.
//No wait, strike that, reverse it.

To be fair, he couldn't get a proper military junta, so the Army Surplus Rangers had to do.

And they were cheap.

Which, when coupled with them flying flags of forces we already declare war on, makes it treason.
He added the enemy seasoning to the mix. Don't blame me for the flavor.

I hope we can re-convict them and send them right back to prison.

2021-01-15 1:42:42 PM
Oh good.  These crimes won't be covered by their pardons then.

2021-01-15 1:43:09 PM
If they're convicted again will they still be ex-cons?

2021-01-15 1:43:36 PM
A seditious conspiracy? Well it looks like we need to have a trial, debate by an impartial jury and upon the return of a guilty verdict the stretching of those three necks.

/its a start

I hope Steve Bannon gets his bail revoked for this shiat.

/dreaming

2021-01-15 1:44:43 PM
The thing about ex-cons is that they were shiatty enough at being criminals to become cons in the first place, and Trump doesn't inspire the loyalty to have ex-cons around that were convicted to protect the organization a la the mob.

2021-01-15 1:45:07 PM
I'd ask if Trump paid them but I already know the answer.

/wouldn't being tried again for criminal stupidity be double jeopardy ?

2021-01-15 1:47:04 PM
Yes.  So what are we doing about it?  It just feels like there's trillions of articles implicating people all over the country, but nothing is actually happening to anyone.  At least, anyone who makes more than 50 grand a year.

2021-01-15 1:47:07 PM
Good. Now they can all bunk together in a federal supermax.

What pieces of shiat.

"I'd put the heads on pikes. Right. I'd put them at the two corners of the White House as a warning to federal bureaucrats," Bannon said. "You either get with the program or you are gone."

Representatives for Bannon, who did not respond to ABC News' request for comment prior to the publication of this story, added in a statement that "Mr. Bannon did not, would not and has never called for violence of any kind. Mr. Bannon's commentary was clearly meant metaphorically."

I metaphorically want to kick his ass.

Flynn promoted the so-called "Jericho March," a rally of Christians to "pray, march, fast, and rally for election integrity,"

From what I've seen I'm not sure MAGAts are into fasting, although they probably should be.

I doubt Dongmold will pardon them, considering his track record of repaying loyalty, especially when they're no longer of any use to him and he's fully consumed about the impending legal shiatstorm awaiting him on the 21st.

He means fasting fueled by appetite suppressants. Like cocaine and meth.

Don Jr mannerisms and numb tongue make me feel like I am back in the 80s.  Or back in Colombia.

Well, that is certainly quite the violent, bloody, dripping with gore metaphor couched as a threat and a warning, so I guess I see what you mean when you say it like that... *eyeroll*

All three men played pivotal roles in Trump's rise to power, only to see their reputations tainted by criminal investigation.

Impossible, they started off as taint! You can't taint taint... god knows I've tried.

I'm not sure they could differentiate the noun from the adjective if they had the dictionary right in front of them.

I can remember reading 1984 years ago and thinking Orwell had the whole Ministry of Truth thing wrong.  I thought there's no way the masses would just swallow something like "we've always been at war with east Asia" when in fact they were at war with Oceania last week.

But damn if it isn't happening right in front of our eyes.  I mean this is ABC news.  The language they're criticizing is the EXACT SAME LANGUAGE that dem politicians used nationwide during the riots and looting this summer.

But I guess we've always been against language like this. Until we need to be OK with it next time

If I am not mistaken, administrative maximum - also called ADX, Admax and Supermax - is 23 hours a day locked down in solitary confinement with a highly restricted hour out for exercise. And that's probably how it should be. You really don't want the kinds of people we send to ADX prisons freely plotting among themselves; it would basically become a school for supervillains.

The links are going to be discovered and connected and it's all going to lead back to Trump.

That isn't the question.

The question is, does this nation actually believe in the rule of Law, or are some pigs more equal than others.

Our own legal system is basically on trial.

Trump is not a failure. He was very successful in destroying the machinations of government, and warning people he was going to do it. And everyone let him do it. And he's still in office still grifting. I'm not exactly sure how he failed.

So, conspiracy to commit sedation.  Someone tell Roger Stone that he's too dumb and it must have been Bannon that had all the good ideas.

Sadly, the verdict will be golden: he who has the gold rules him/herself as not guilty.

That's a little harsh - the word Yes is an agreement with the headline or article, and is therefore a fact.

Flynn was the specialist called in for the kidnapping of the Vice President (and family) and Speaker of the House.  Stone was tapped to coordinate the costumes, and positioning the Auschwitz t-shirt exhibit.   Bannon was called for the natural chaos that a Goldman Sacks Disaster Capitalist Hedge Fund Manager does so well.

OK, what's happening to people?  Who's being brought in for questioning?  Who's been arrested?
