I knew someone in college who had a parrot that would say "Oh shiat, cops!" anytime the doorbell rang. This was difficult to explain to visiting parents.

I do like the dog's "see what I have to put up with?" look.

One of my parents' former dogs was a major barker.  Such that the ravens in the area mimic that specific dog's barking.

TwowheelinTim: Birds are cool. I once had a cockatiel I taught to say "Here kitty kitty kitty".

CSB:
First day in my first house (always apartment dweller).  It's 6:30am on a Sunday, I'm leaving house to go back for more junk at apt, and hear "Help, I've fallen and can't get up!"  I race across the street and start banging on the door.  30 seconds later, and very disheveled lady who clearly just got out of bed answers the door.  I apologize and explain that I heard someone in distress.  She opened the door wider to revel a Gray Parrot named Larry, who's previous owner taught him that phrase because he thought it was funny.  I was relieved, she was annoyed.  Yeah, bird is dead now, but lady is still an annoying brat.

Looks like a White, or Umbrella Cockatoo. I'll check with Mrs McSordid, because she's had a cockatoo.

edmo: I lived in Mesa, AZ in the 90s. The birds could imitate every kid of cellphone ring and a few car alarms. Funny.

Friend of mine grew up in a neighborhood with several nesting mockingbirds. One of the neighbors pissed one of them off and it started mimicking his car alarm.

At four AM.

There was a mockingbird nesting near the parking garage at uni, it would imitate the car alarms all day and late into the night "woop woop woop, sqwak sqwak sqwak, weet weet weet...etc." It would do the whole routine

My conure didn't make any cool noises but he did love beer and would land on your hand to steal some straight from the can or if you had it in a glass it was even better. He had brand preferences too and if it was one he liked he would be really aggressive with his theft. Like any good drunk though he wasn't picky and if he had to settle for licking a bottle cap he'd do that too.
