We have friends who run a paleo bakery and they're doing amazingly well -- the number of keto/paleo/GF people out there is much larger than I ever imagined.

Look, its good to try and eat more vegetables but please stop with the hyper restrictive diets that exclude starches entirely.  Its not necessary (broadly speaking).

/and pretending like ancient people ate THIS diet as opposed to whatever the fark they could find locally which would absolutely include fruits and grains is ridiculous.
// and something ancient doesn't make it good.  People used to see the effects of malnutrition with limited diets.  Maybe don't emulate that.

Holy crap, 13g of sugar?!?  That's about a tablespoon.  That seems like a lot for a Paleo thing.

This is ridiculous.  "Paleo" just means that you put butter in your coffee, like our paleolithic ancestors did.

Just eat 370 calories of almonds and you'll be much better off.

Yeah, and 370 cal for 2 oz? I can't make a breakfast out of 2 oz of food.

That's a lot of fat to go with the protein. Better off having a stick of jerky with the crunchberries.

I'd hazard a guess that wheat and barley are more ancient parts of the human diet than things like arrowroot starch and baking soda. But what do I know, I'm not a hipster with ARFID.

Paleo is the dumbest farking diet. It's also based on lies.

There is scientific evidence of dairy consumption in humans from at least 6000 years ago, for example (before farming)

We should all eat like cavemen, there's a reason they all lived to be a hundred!
