"I'm grateful to Senator Cruz for the opportunity and wish him and his first-rate staff nothing but the best," she said.

I understand the desire to be professional or whatever, but if you ever want to salvage your reputation you maybe probably could possibly be a little more upfront in your condemnation of fascism.

One of my nieces works for the Chertoff Group as a security analyst. It was co-founded by Micheal Chertoff and Cruz' ex-campaign manager & best friend. This guy sent an internal memo saying that he had let Cruz know that if he opposed certification of the electoral votes, he might consider no longer supporting him. This was seen within the organization as a principled stand.

He MUST be expelled from congress. He's earned it. Completely. That farking Canadian born seditionist needs to be removed at a minimum and deserves much worse.

Twisting logic to the extent that one must do when working for Ted Cruz does take a toll on one's mental health.

I am Tom Joad's Complete Lack of Surprise: His foul smell won't wash off you, missy.

Gonna be a LOT more people on the unemployment line this year due to resignations and no one hiring terrorists and/or their supporters/enablers.

I hope she didn't try calling his office number to do so.  That number has been unanswered  for a decade.  Cruz certainly is "in the shop" a lot.   He never returns library books either.  "Cat in the Hat" is long overdue.

The very least is a full-on investigation by the FBI going through his phone looking for evidence of coordination, along with censure. Should there be proof he conspired with any insurrection, then he must be expelled and given the absolute maximum penalties for any crimes, and that includes the murder of the officer, and the injuries others received.

In the wise words of Sheldon Cooper, "we may be dealing with befoulment on a molecular level."

Saddam Hussein had yellow cake and I'm fully willing to believe Ted Cruz has yellow cake.

After witnessing KellyAnne, Alice Stuart, who worked for his election, and the woman on CNN who is a never Trumper, but was once Teds side squeeze, I have to conclude that they all are his side squeeze, which is creepy as hell

I wonder how much of an effect the Forbes Op/Ed piece about distrusting former Trump officials in their reporting had a chilling effect on these communications staffers.

From Forbes....
"Let it be known to the business world: Hire any of Trump's fellow fabulists above, and Forbes will assume that everything your company or firm talks about is a lie. We're going to scrutinize, double-check, investigate with the same skepticism we'd approach a Trump tweet. Want to ensure the world's biggest business media brand approaches you as a potential funnel of disinformation? Then hire away."
