Now that's unfair, subby, T-Mac seems like it wouldn't be torture to play with him.

Or are we trying to say that Harden's a dead man's version of T-Mac?

Probably meant Mac Tonight.

I heard James Harden went into a restaurant and ate everything in the restaurant and they had to close the restaurant.

Well, when the clock strikes half past six, babe, it's time to head for the golden lights.

James Harden and Lebron's mom were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me!

I want Harden to be traded just to watch the culture shock when his new coach and teammates get in his face about holding the ball for 20 seconds every possession.

Wow, a one dimensional player (no defense) with no regard for team play is upset that his TEAM can't win?

This is why I'm not a fan of the NBA in general. The players are really taking a mercenary attitude. They are focused on getting paid and their legacy to the point that they don't think they have to try if they don't play on a superteam with 5 of their bestest friends.

Maybe it's because the rosters are so small compared to hockey or football but I just can't get into it because the players don't seem to have any real loyalty to their team.

He's looking like he might have a little bit of a beer belly going on.  Not trying to shame anyone, but it's not something you see very often on a star NBA player.

I don't blame them for trying to get paid, but no one will watch a league in the US that's stocked with perennial bottom feeders. The NBA isn't soccer. If it keeps going like this, you might as well just move all the teams to warm weather cities with plenty of pussy, so you have a half decent shot of landing a free agent.

ITT: A bunch of people who don't follow the NBA talking about things they don't know about.

Again: Every player in every sport cares less about their franchise than you do. It's literally their job. If you got offered a job at the same pay for a more successful company with better co-workers, you would probably move, too. Especially given the fact that you never chose where you went in the first place and, in their case, your boss can relocate you at any point (unless you have negotiated the right to refuse).

Have you ever had a job where all the co-workers you like left/got fired, your boss was replaced by someone you didn't connect with as well, etc.? Did you stick it out for the rest of your career because "loyalty"?

If you did, you're a fool.

Eh.  Most teams see themselves as potentially on the way up and are playing their asses off.  I don't think the Hawks or Warriors think they're going to win a title, but they're running their asses off and fighting hard every night.  Even the Knicks and Hornets seem to be playing pretty hard at the moment.  Even guys who aren't great team players still have a strong enough incentive to play hard most of the time.  That's how you eventually end up with a good contract and maybe playing for a team with title hopes.  Players have shorter contracts than they used to have.  This frankly seems like an outdated stereotype to me

Lol, a ball hog going to a team coached by one of the most famous passers of his time.

The NBA is second biggest pro league in the country and both conferences are hella competitive this year. Yes, even the East.

The level of play this year is garbage and that's why there's more parity.

Don't worry, it's in NYC - plenty of pressure from the outside from everyone else's inflated egos.

Touche. But I don't think anyone thinks that's a crappy place to play except due to the organization being sh*t. Sh*t organizations are sh*t in every sport.

/Kings were an OK answer, as it turns out 2002 is a lot longer ago than I thought. :-(
//but also, a bad management thing. Not like they've lost a whole ton of talent to more desirable cities

We didn't even bring up the Bullets.
