We need unity right now more than ever.

I think an impeachment to show everyone that this is now how we do things in the US, that the kind of behavior demonstrated by Trump is unacceptable, would be quite a shock to the system for some folks and help us achieve that.

Add me to the "impeach him" chorus.

/he's a disgrace and we deserve better

but it is the gop that has been using him as a weapon.  all the creepy Power Behind the Throne types who pulled W's strings, where have they been?  i don't believe that they couldn't control Trump- they didn't want to.  they want the current state of things.  i don't know why.  ruin the country, sell it off, nothing would surprise me.  a sociopathic need for power and intrigue and lucre.  the real powers have zero loyalty to any nation, and we are not people to them.

We get to unity when the GOP bases finds a way to join the rest of us in the real world.    They might now have some idea that their "facts" and real world facts are not lining up and would prefer a new set of facts that lets them do and say all the things they do and say now.

I'm in favor of the GOP politicians joining with Democratic politicians to find a way to de-radicalize their voting base.   At this point that is not what anyone means by "unity"

We don't get unity until we are all living in the same reality.
