The last line of the article is hilarious. Jokes on Pascal, the number is public! That'll show him to dox people!

They are. It's not.
If anything, it's a Call To Action to voice your opinion to a US Senator, and it's their job to listen to their constituents. If he doesn't want to do his job, he is free to resign.

2021-01-11 10:41:12 AM
Last line of article disproves the rest: "Cruz's office number is listed on his website, so is anything but secret."

It helps if you say something derogatory about his wife.  He seems to respond very well to that.

If he was some fourteenth-level assistant drone to someone who can't order a round of coffee for the office without six approvals, even if the number is public I'd say that's off limits.

As Ted is (by his own hand) a public figure, that number SHOULD be seen/known by a lot of people.

// like, part of his job is to hear The People's grievances

And on top of that the last line in the article is "The joke might have been on Pascal, in the end. Cruz's office number is listed on his website, so is anything but secret."

Pascal never claimed it was secret. Just more of a call to action.

Asking people to call an elected official's office isn't doxxing.  It's what that number is meant for.  Still good on him to use his platform to get more people involved.

Let's see, Pascal's portrayal of Max Lord:

Isn't balding
Doesn't have a ridiculous combover
Isn't Obese
Doesn't have a crappy spray tan
Doesn't wear comically large ties
Has normal sized hands
Isn't portrayed as having severe dementia
Doesn't have any of Trump's speech tics

However, he is an absolute failure of a businessman and a scummy con-artist.  If that's enough for you to draw the parallel to Trump, that probably says more about Trump than Pascal.

Scratch that, Max Lord only failed at one business and ran a single con.  He's bush league compared to Trump.

Also, of course Cruz would go after Lord.  The other side has a rapist and we know Cruz will always side with the rapist.

I thought Pascal was one of the best parts of that bleh movie.  Very convincing and he really put his all into it.  Rafael Cruz doesn't like it when evil characters hit too close to home.

Solution, stop being evil.  Come on...Ted.

Yeah he was far better than the material.  The movie was a train wreck and they could have taken a hatchet to 45 minutes of it.

Thank you. It's like the peeps that assume these nancies had sophisticated plans. There was a plan. And the planners wanted violence. But they went to Travelocity and asked a forum "My kid wants to go to the Parliamentarian's office, how do I get there?" The Pentagon (where they have supporters) didn't show them any eyes-only stuff.

WilderKWight: Latching themselves to Trump is going to get a lot of Republicans purged from politics.

I've been a Republican for a long time and believe in limited government and fiscal responsibility, but the GOP has been steadily heading for obscurity for a lot longer than Trump.  Hopefully this will purge the ideologues, religious zealots, and spineless RINOs who have been destroying the party.

The GOP needs a serious reformation, or it should just go away completely.  The modern Libertarian party is much closer to what the GOP used to be.

It's not doxxing, but accusing a popular actor of possibly committing a crime against a poor, oppressed, wealthy, openly seditious, privileged conservative generates more clicks.
