I hope they tie, and after 7 overtimes, so many players have minor injuries that the game is cancelled. And Clemson is declared the national champion.

Last time I was in "both can lose" territory was Super Bowl LII.  Sorry, I'm a Saints fan.  I was happy that the Super Bowl game was a complete stinker.

So I guess... lots of punts?

Now, the above being said... I root for chaos, always.  So rooting for tOSU because COVID and number of games and SEC outrage.

I didn't watch either of the first halves from 2014 live, nor did I watch the first half live of this year's game against Clemson. Contemplating doing it that way again because I'd hate to have it be my fault that we lost.

If we win, I'm buying a damned Blu-ray of the game like I did 2014

We did that for 2002 but it left off a few seconds here and there.

My father is a Bengals fan so of course he taped the 1989 Super Bowl. I love that there are commercials on there, I wish the 2002 Fiesta Bowl DVD had them. 1989 was the year they did the 3-D Bud Bowl and it was neat to watch it again a while back without skipping the commercials, they serve as time capsules in a way.

I want to say it was the 1987 Michigan game and it has that "Pardon me, do you have any Grey Poupon" commercial on it. I got a surprise kick out of that.

I've been working on my sewing skills. It's an older jersey (Ted Ginn) and had the 2007 BCS National Championship patch on it. I was afraid that was glued on but, luckily, it was sewn as well so it was easy to remove.

I collect jerseys and know way too much about this stuff.

Nothing wrong with having a thumb for sewing. I haven't done it in a while but I'm sure it'd be easy enough to do repairs when the need comes up. I can still make boots/shoes gleaming though! Except for the whole cooking and cooking things, I'm the personification of Good Housekeeping.

Anybody know the real kickoff time? As in, when does the kicker's foot strike the ball? I'm going to try and get home by 8:15, but I'll obey some speed limits if it's not till 8:30.

Ohio State can handle one head coach in Jim Harbaugh who eats his own boogers on national TV, do we have enough to handle an offensive coordinator who does the same thing? If not, what does that say about us to lose to a booger eater?

I once had a site for that sort of thing which has been lost to the sands of time, unfortunately all I could find was the start at 8:00. For big games the kick would seem to be from 8:11 - 8:18, going off of memory.

My grandpa passed away today at 98.  He was an OSU season ticket holder until 96 and went to games.  His first game was at 13 in 1935 to see OSU play Notre Dame. He and a friend hitch hiked what today takes an hour and a half to drive.

He went to OSU for a year and a half starting in 1940, he couldn't afford more school and knew with WW2 he was going to get drafted, so he and another buddy, both colorblind, used the medical school library to memorize the colorblind test to get into flight school.

Needless to say, like many in Ohio, he loved OSU more than any other team.

For him tonight I say Go Bucks!

And the PEDs and buying players. And injuring opposing players (Clemson learned from that).

I've lived in Kentucky my whole life. So I'll always root against OSU.
But we have 2 types of football fans here: SEC Fans and Kentucky Basketball fans that root for other championship teams (OSU Fans)

SEC Fans are the worst. They automatically think Arkansas or Ole Miss would beat Stanford, Oregon, etc by 50. It was really fun when Boise St rolled into Athens, GA and beat the hell out of UGA.

Small correction, that game was in Atlanta, but not many BSU fans traveled for it so it was much more of a road game than a neutral site.
