I don't really follow college ball but it seems he was one hell of a RB.  And only 19, that's just absolutely tragic.

I feel terrible for his loved ones.

Weapons are not toys.

No such thing as an "accidental shooting."

It's a negligent discharge at best, suicide at worst.  Very sad either way.

/this is why you empty the pistol's clip when you do any maintenance

I don't own a gun, because if I did, this would be an inevitability for me.

The U.S. has a sports problem.

Jordan was a special player who looked like he was poised for greatness.  I've been a Utah football fan for 45 years, and I'd never been more excited about the future of a freshman player.  The entire offense would have been built around him for the next 3-4 years.  He was so good that both of his backups hit the transfer portal because they knew there was no way they were getting any minutes behind him.  Off the field, he seemed like a great kid as well, with a ton of personality and charm.  I have little doubt Jordan would have been playing in Sundays.

To have all that potential snuffed out in an instant because of a massively stupid mistake is just devastating to his family and the Utah football community.  I can't even imagine what that poor family is going through right now.

RIP Ty.  Your time here was short, but you certainly won't be forgotten.

I know its fark and all, but that headline was in poor taste. 19 years old, successful life ahead of him, i can't muster a chuckle at subbys title.
