(WWE)   It's that time of year when the WWE gives its fans a little TLC (Tables, Ladders & Chairs). Will Drew retain vs AJ? Will Roman still be the "Head of the Table" after K.O. puts him thru one or five? It all starts at 7 PM ET on the WWE Network   (wwe.com) divider line

Pretty good card tonight IMO. I'm not super interested in the two women's matches but the rest should be pretty good.

My picks:
Drew over AJ
Roman over KO
Orton over The Fiend (because how is Randy getting lit on fire?) via shenanigans in order to set something up
Sasha/Carmilla ends in some kind of non-finish
Nia/Shayna over Asuka (who goes it alone?)
Hurt Business over New Day

So i attended the Canelo vs Smith boxing match at the Alamodome with "social distance" measures in place.  venue seats 65k but only 15k were in attendance I think.  Pods of tickets sold, every other row blocked off, and masks required unless eating or drinking.  On paper it seemed to work, and gave me hope for fans to maybe start showing up for a few wwe event in the future.

But like everything else, the human factor screwed it up.  People bought a beer or popcorn and used ot as an excuse to take the mask off and walk around, people rushed the ramp to get a better view of the walkouts, security just couldnt keep people from swarming that area.

Cause you know your life only exists if you can share it on your phone.

Its a step in the right direction I guess, but shows theres still a ways to go.

Maybe it's so people will forget being upset at the finish by the time Roman vs KO happens?

I wonder if Drew is tired of polishing Vince's sword.

Ok it had nothing to do with this match, there is never a bad time to watch Highlander on a boring Sunday.

FWIW, I've been attending NFL games since October. The team has empty seats between different pods and ties them closed so people can't sit where they're not supposed to. Employees of the team enforce proper spacing on the escalators and through the metal detectors to enter as best as they can. They also circulate around and tell people to mask up if they're trying to skirt the rules. It's also nice that we're outside in a 65k seat stadium at less than a quarter attendance, too. Me and my dad sit in what I would call a "low traffic" area which also helps.

It's not perfect but I've been happy with it for the most part. It's been nice to get out and do something every couple of weeks even if my team has basically stunk since the starting QB injury.

I wonder how many people who have seen that know that "Silvercup" is an actual business in NY & not just something made up for the movie.

I wasnt uncomfortable.  i sat in my seat drank a 12 dollar beer and watched the matches, and felt entertained.  i felt no different than going to Walmart or the grocery store amongst the mass amounts of people there.  Im in the camp that thinks the lockdown restrictions are way uneven, and being done just to say they are doing something.  If i feel sick I stay my ass at home and i didn't need a pandemic to tell me to wash my hands.

but like everything theres always those people that dont think anything applies to them and the ones that keep screwing it up.  Its like the kid that loses recess for the rest of the class

How I felt Going to the collective, except everyone leaving through one exit, I just sat in my seat and talked to the workers I knew until it cleared out.

That's what we do at the games, we wait a bit before leaving. Of course, the last couple of games it's usually started emptying out early, which makes it even easier...

I always wait especially things like Boxing matches or international soccer matches because theres almost certainly gonna be a better fight between fans after.

i still scratch my head at safety protocols though.  Like the cashless stuff.  I get that they want to limit exposure to germs, but they are still handing me my receipt, food, and drink with the same hands they would have used to put the cash away.

The plastic shields too.  unless it was developed by NASA i doubt its doing much to protect me from the food workers standing shoulder to shoulder all day making food.  But like I said some people just need to see that something is being done

Why didn't AJ just springboard?
