How about you fark off with that? How about if you choose not to get vaccinated the rest of us shun you for being an infectious asshole?

Let's take it a step further and say that if you had a chance to get vaccinated and chose not to and you continue to engage in public life, we assume you're trying to kill people and we lock you away? That's a step in a better direction.

Christ, I've never witnessed such a rush to fark over your neighbors as I've seen during this Trump pandemic.

Compromise: Vaccination mandatory, but those who CANNOT take it (medically) are protected in public places from exclusion.

Republicans have proved time and time again that the only thing they deserve to be in charge of is holding a loaded gun to their heads and pulling the trigger.

2020-12-18 2:09:41 PM
What's the difference between this and arguing that my right to stab the space in front of me outweighs people's rights to not get stabbed?

2020-12-18 2:10:19 PM
Well, I mean, while COVID-19 has killed a million or so humans, we've killed untold TRILLIONS of it.

And now these scientists want to commit genocide?  Wipe COVID-19 out completely, just for existing?

I don't think we have the moral high ground here.

2020-12-18 2:10:19 PM
If I were a Republican, of course I would be all for protecting the rights of the dangerously stupid.

This coincides well with my business plan for printing up fake medical exemptions and selling them to anti-vaxxers

Ferndale is closer to Vancouver, B.C. than it's to Idaho. For that matter it's closer to Vancouver than it is to Seattle, but that's some advanced geography.

No, the Constitution says whatever the fark judges want it to say.
We did this same shiat 100 years ago and somehow judges were smarter then and told anti-vaxxers that their rights meant nothing in comparison to the damage their exercise would bring to others.

In the release, Ericksen said the legislation is not pro-vaccine or anti-vaccine, but rather "pro-individual rights."

You don't have the individual right to infect others with a deadly disease. But you think you do so you're farking stupid and I'd like to take a wiffle bat to your beany head.

Go ahead, make out a First Amendment argument for me. I would very much like to know. You are obviously a much better lawyer than those who trained me, so I'm sure you can teach meet a lot. Are there gold fringes involved?

2020-12-18 2:16:02 PM
You don't get to discriminate against people based on things they can't help or change.

Not taking the vaccine is a choice. Choices have consequences.

Being discriminated against essentially for refusing what amounts to a basic respect to hygiene and sanitation in response to a clear national health crisis is perfectly rational. If you don't brush your teeth, wipe your ass, or shower once every few days, people are also going to discriminate against you.

2020-12-18 2:16:29 PM
So is there a benchmark of dead people conservatives could hit before they stop making it about their horrible politics?

A million?

10 million?

Build Trumps whole wall out of dead Americans - million?

They are some sick motherf*ckers I'll say that.

It isn't about rights at all. No one is going to force anyone to get the shot. That was never on the table.

Well, I guess it actually is about rights. Its about the right to force people to be around your plague-rat ass or more likely, your piece of shiat kid.

I fully support this and any other legislature that will cull the herd of idiots down to manageable numbers.

2020-12-18 2:20:43 PM
I'm done hearing anti-vaccine bullsh*t.

Legally mandate the vaccine. Require that people be vaccinated before they can have a job, put themselves or their children in schooling, or purchase goods or services.

No time or room for playing around with this. If 40% of the country doesn't get vaccinated, we have no herd immunity, and we will still be fighting COVID in 2050.

I've made this comparison before. You have the right to own firearms. That does not mean you can just discharge them in any manner you see fit, blowing holes through houses and whatnot. You must be RESPONSIBLE with that right. The same thing should apply to Covid. You have the right to travel and conduct yourself in public, however that right stops when you start behaviors that will infect and kill others.

That's about geographic proximity.  Based on the time that I've spent in Ferndale, it seems much like parts of Idaho from the standpoint of behavior.

A virus is a living being. By getting vaccinated, you are starving that living creature of its food supply. You pro-choice murderers are responsible for the death of millions if not billions of babby viruses!

It used to be that Americans could be counted on to make the right decision after exhausting all other options.  Now, we can't even do that.

I'm sure there's going to be many countries barring direct entry without proof of vaccination for some time once international travel begins to occur with frequency, and it's not like every anti-vaxxer or "mah civil liberties!!!" type is a total homebody by any means.

i hope those folks enjoy not ever leaving the USA again for...awhile.

The farking Amish reject most modern technologies and yet they farking vaccinate. They tend to have lower rates of vaccination than the public due to the general isolation of their communities, lack of insurance inhibiting regular check ups, and other factors. But you send a state doctor to their community with some shots, who talks to them about what it does, and they'll farking agree to let their kids get them. That's because the Amish reject certain technologies to encourage a sense of hard work and community but they are not stupid enough to actually reject science or knowledge itself.

So he wants the oppressive Government to use it's police power to tell innocent business owners what policies they can or cannot adopt as a precondition of people purchasing their goods and/or services? What will these big-government liberals think of next?
