Legal contracts that people voluntarily agree to. Has there ever been anything more ridiculous in all of recorded history?

Your landlord should be paying *you* to live in their heavily mortgaged building. It's just common sense.

I agree, those renters should have prepared better.

A "rainy day fund" drains quickly when the day lasts for for 9 months, and the rain turns out to be a massive storm.
