I'm noping the hell out on 1, 6, 8 and 11. I've heard 9 has it's merits, so I guess I'll allow it. The rest? Yes please.

I have you Farkied as "takoyaki friend" but I guess now I have to add pickles to the list.  And I have to try senfgurken.

Lately I'm into all the Asian flavors and I want to eat shibazuke and umeboshi all day long.  And I've got a jar of daylilly/mustard root relish stuff that I've just been eating with my fingers because OMG.

It may surprise you to know that I have never had Branston pickle... being in the US and all. That said, a few supermarkets in my area have a (very) small section that sells British foodstuffs (at absurd prices... I mean, $5.69 for a can of Ambrosia Devon custard), and they usually carry Branston pickle. I might try it one day.

it's almost reasonable on the amazons, or it used to be. I paid... hold on... *tapatap* 28 bucks for six 11-ounce jars, so not quite $5 each. but, oh lawd... now it's up around 9-10-11 dollars. per freaking jar. I need to find a local store what sells the Britishisms. dear lord, I think over in the Englands the stuff sells for like... GBP one-fitty? that's like, almost a dollar in US money!

but it is quite nice! think tamarind chutney, maybe a bit oversweetened, with kind of al-dente-level vegetals in it (rutabaga, carrots, onions, cauliflower) - huh, it's actually dates, apples, and tomato? then it must be the various acids they use, I've always thought of it as tamarind.

Sell me your car?

politely... no!!! lol, I think I let a friend drive her, only just the once. I was in the passenger seat and I highly regretted the incident. (yes, I am kind of a jerk.)

/I don't know why, but now that I've been re-watching all of Venture Bros. I have been shouting all of my thoughts IN THE MONARCH'S VOICE

I was going to link Bigs Dill Pickle sunflower seeds if they weren't included. They are. Very tasty. Even better are the Bigs Taco Bell sunflower seeds. One of the better buys at a dollar store and I am lucky enough to have two stores carry them.

/ Such a mess indoors but I now have a use for the vacuum cleaner.

altho'... ume are... just... I like to have this notion of myself as a non-picky eater, but those are one of the few things on the planet where my inner-3yo. comes out. also tsukemono (I especially don't get this part, since I will literally inhale as much gimbap as you could possibly shove at me.) also shiso/perilla. I don't get why. there is literally nothing on the planet I would not eat, hells, I'd likely even eat meat if you twisted my arm hard enough, but, just... no.

but, hay, good news, I ordered some of that same mustard root!!! I HAZ AN SO EXCITE!

(or, it's... the hamazons had it in mini-packs, but I'm pritty-shure I got the words right)
