Terms mean nothing, donnie has made very clear a president can fire any appointee for cause  he wants using cause only known to them.

Dejoy should be facing criminal charges in the near future anyway.

Which is exactly the rationale for why the DOJ won't indict a sitting President.

Make a list of pending/potential charges and investigations.  Offer him a modest resignation package, with immunity.  If his lawyers are any good, they'll strongly advise him to take it.

No - they are all gone for cause after the evidence and destruction of it is preserved.

The shiate they pulled right before election should be cause enough to fire all of them.

Move his office to some place like Eagle Village Alaska.  That would work too.

Part of this post office nonsense was supposed to be fixing the inequality of cheap junk being sent from China for nearly nothing while local mail subsidized it but they haven't fixed that yet other than one small concession by the Universal Postal Union.

Don't care. Prosecute him, fire him while under investigation, ignore Republicans the entire time.

"Appointed by Trump" is reason enough to remove/replace ANY position in our federal government. Everything he touches is poison, so make sure they know it's because Trump appointed them too.

Get rid of the Republican board as well since they were perfectly fine with hiring that ass in the first place.

"Sanders' decision in 2015 and 2016 to block two of the Obama administration's nominees -- made at the behest of powerful union leaders -- and McConnell's decision to block the rest in retaliation created a unique opportunity for President Donald Trump to appoint a full slate of picks to a panel that is meant to be comprised of bipartisan members serving staggered, seven-year terms."

However, industry experts and congressional aides told ABC that they wouldn't expect Biden to prioritize spending his political capital on the Board of Governors.

I had no idea there was such a currency known as "political capital". I thought the President just does whatever the fark he wants.

Reorganize the entire USPS chain of command and leadership via executive order. I don't care how they do it, but every single one of Trump's loyalist placements need to be completely scrubbed, then investigated, and then prosecuted if any evidence - even an awkward sneeze - presents itself.

Besides, how is it spending "political capital" on going after one of the absolute most weaselly and traitorous men in the administration?  Shouldn't that gain him points?  Basically the entire public despises him.

Yes, he should. He'd better. I sincerely hope the Biden administration understands there has to be severe consequences for the bullshiat these people tried to pull. Otherwise, in four more years we're going to get a more sophisticated intelligent Trump that's going to use that same playbook that Trump did, but this time use it effectively and turn this place upside down. I hope everyone can truly appreciate how close we just came to a coup.

Oh, I RTFA and apparently it's about rushing through appointees for the board.  I still don't see why that's something that would evidently hobble his administration--it needs to be done, either way.  And DeJoy needs to be f*cking executed for high crimes.

Several guests making just that case on Ali Velshi's show tonight.

Basically saying "The Republicans aren't going to support Biden in anything that he does, so why worry about pissing them off?"

I'm not too worried. The post office has the Postal Inspectors and they seem to take messing with the mail very seriously. I'm hoping they're just waiting until they can guarantee no interference from the White House. So Jan. 21? Maybe?

I feel like this is what everyone who isn't the Democratic leaders are saying.  The Republicans are going to object to whatever Democrats do.  They're going to lie about it.  They're going to call you the socialistest socialists who ever socialisted, so why care?  There's no reason to adjust your behavior for them because it literally doesn't make a difference what you do--their response will be exactly the same regardless, so do whatever you want.

Since Republicans would shriek about death panels and FEMA camps regardless of the truth, it was a great disappointment to me that Obama didn't subject a bunch of them to death panels and FEMA camps.

Not "whatever you want", but What Needs To Be Done.  Do what needs to be done to restore and preserve the rule of law that has sorely been lacking for years while (R) toadies have run roughshod over so many things we hold dear. Unfortunately because the Dems are a big tent, at this point political capital has more to do with getting his own party to prioritize what he wants.

If Georgia flips blue expect Manchin to hold up a bunch of stuff.

/God I hope Georgia flips blue and the Dems actually stand together.
