Dear, they barely realize white men slightly less wealthy than them are people.  The last turmp will have been sounded for several trillion years before they recognize women as being animate objects, much less people.

They only do that when staring down the barrel of a gun, and only while the gun is pointed at them. Short memories and all.

Sounds like they got together and said "Fine! You can have your abortion per Roe v Wade, but we're going to make you grieve for it as much as possible, and label your miscarriage as 'medical waste'!"

Farking psychopaths.

State Rep. Candice Keller, R-Middletown, one of the authors of the the total ban on abortion in the state which is currently being fought in court, stood in support of the bill, saying the abortion "industry" should take up the cost of disposing of the fetal remains.

She also accused a Democratic legislator, state Rep. and physician, Beth Liston, D-Dublin, of "age discrimination" for arguing that fetal remains at a certain point are about the size of a grain of rice, and therefore "untenable" to dispose of in a burial or cremation.

If I'm unlucky enough to be alive for the inevitable social upheaval/rebalancing of this country all I ask is that I live long enough to see the rich and their families torn to shreds on their own front lawns.
All billionaires need to be is a little less billionairy and things would at least maintain it's just that they can't help themselves.

Isn't a funeral a religious ceremony?

How is this not imposition of religion?

Perhaps in my religion the appropriate funeral rites involve the nearest convenient medical incinerator and no further thought.

Also, can't people refuse to claim bodies?

This might come back to bite the state if they're stuck with thousands of funerals for unclaimed, unnamed "people".

My wife had an ectopic pregnancy that almost killed her.  According to these clowns she had an abortion.

You want me to bury the abnormal fetus that almost killed my wife?  How about fark you.

It appears the majority of Ohio politician's mothers need to get very late term abortions.

We're pretty badly outnumbered here. I could tell just from the Dolt45 to Biden sign ratio that it wasn't going to end well for Ohio. Bunch of inbreds here in the state.

Jeezus, Ohio, what's wrong with you?  You could be with the cool kids like Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan....even Wisconsin saw the light on the last election.

Yet, you apparently prefer to be like your inbred hick cousin, Indiana.

Nope. Neutron bomb the place.

Knowing the assclowns that make up the legislature and the fact that DeWine is a fervent anti-abortionist, this is guaranteed to be voted into law in Ohio.

Then it's up to the ACLU and other orgs to argue that it's unconstitutional. If the makeup of the Supreme Court doesn't change, this law will be the first of many taking away rights from women, minorities, and LGTBQ folks.

I can only hope Biden and the Democrats stop the hemorrhaging of civil rights in this country. I'm not optimistic yet.

Hey don't worry.  Join the Church of Satan where having an abortion is a religious tenet if a woman doesn't want to be pregnant.  I'm sure Amy Coney Barrett will affirm your right to religious liberty.

Re headline, miscarriages are exempt per tfa:

Opponents to the bill noted that the bill requires the burial or cremation of fetal remains from surgical abortions, but leaves out those from medication abortions, stillborns, miscarriages, and embryos from fertility clinics.

Texas had one of these laws in place, but I lost track of what happened to it in the court process.  Seems like it hit the 5th circuit, and then just didn't go anywhere.
