If the issue cited really mattered, they would have litigated years ago. Somehow, just somehow, I think this could be about something else.

They're really hoping that if they whine long and loudly enough the courts will get fed up, throw their hands up and say, "OK you farking babies, you can have the election. Will you shut up now?" Aren't they?

The lawsuits must continue for the grift to continue. Why do people think they believe these 'arguments' will win? The lawsuits are the goal, victory is immaterial and impossible in any event, but they bring in those fat donations from tge yokels and thats all they care about.

As far as Pennsylvania, the US Supreme Court is currently scheduled to review the case! Scheduled for 12/9, the day after safe harbor for the election (remember, the deadline that expedited Bush v. Gore in 2000) so it may be rendered moot by that point (alternatively, if they do make a ruling in favor of the GOP that puts us in uncharted territory; what else is new?)

There was a guy in college who was dumb, ugly and had a HUGE crush on a girl who was Waaaaayyyy out of his league. he was obsessed with one thing, punching his v-card with her. She was not interested, but he kept asking and asking and asking and finally he wore her down and she did it. More out of pity than anything else. I remember his beaming sweaty face as he came running into my friend's dorm room to announce his victory. I saw her shortly after, she looked flushed and ashamed. She stopped talking to him.

I think about that ugly toad from time to time, especially during times like this, people like this. And yes, he went full MAGA I found out later.

I just hope America doesn't give in and get farked again by that supremely ugly fat toad Trump

The ruling, if it is in favor of the GOP, would probably be this:

"Yes, the mail-in voting for Pennsylvania was not implemented properly, but it is too late now. Either get it fixed via an amendment to the state constitution, or it is null and void. The current votes and certification stands."

I think the GOP would rather do that than have the victory handed to them. That way they get to claim with some tiny stamp of plausibility that the Supreme Court said the election was invalid but Biden was given the presidency as a participation trophy anyway.

Victory is fleeting but a well-nursed grievance lives forever.

They're going to make it up to 45 court losses and then stop because it's a "sacred number" like DOW 30k.
This has to be legal performance art at this point right?

They are gonna keep the grift going as long as Donnie can keep that "legal" fund going...

The revelation that the amount raised for the Trump legal fund had exceeded his Deutsche Bank debt  made the light come on for me. You have no idea how good it feels to have the knot my gut unwind. Or maybe you do. At the end of his campaign Trump was saying stuff like "Dems will get rid of God." The constant ratcheting up of rhetoric is just to get the last penny from the chumps. There's no end of stuff for True Haters to get upset over, but I imagine there's a mathematics behind what constitutes a rhetorical dry hole. Peak Embroil, as it were.  Trump is not gonna willingly leave a nickel in the couch, but there's always something else to roil the chumps with.

Their claim is that the law that was passed with a bipartisan effort back in 2019 is illegal, because an amendment to their constitution should have been made instead to implement the mail-in voting stuff.

That's not my argument. I think they are coo-coo (coup-coup?).

I'm just trying to get into the mindset of a conservative SCOTUS, and if they agreed with the plaintiffs, what they would say.

Pennsylvania is a perfect place.

Perfect place to stir up some bullshiat made up because the population is overwhelmingly completely farking Regarded.

Vast majority of them are by their own admission deeply religious. Which automatically excludes them from having claim to any rational thought whatsoever.

On top of that, they all feel professional and colligate sports to be much more pressing news than the global pandemic or a horse in a hospital.

2020-12-04 5:48:50 PM
Fine. You can have it... right after Biden submits a case to SCOTUS that he's allowed to have ALL the other states.

Why not, right? I mean, you're not providing evidence for this one state but demand victory, so it's fair Biden can just blatantly demand victory everywhere else. Works for me.
