Breaking character over Biden's win is like laughing during your sketch on SNL. Not ideal, but totally forgivable unless Lorne Michaels is in a bad mood.

Well, it's Trump, and "bad mood" is his default and perpetual state, so...

I love the strife within the party over the GA elections.  And Trump, of course, is the locus.

After Lin Woods' thoroughly amusing rant about not voting, you have Dan Crenshaw coming out and accusing him of being a Democrat.

And they used to say the Democrats had issues with message discipline.  I'd like to think that myth will now dissolve after the Trump Era.  But it will probably persist like those other canards like Democrats are bad with the economy, hate the military, and are enemies of faith.

But seriously GOP, please proceed. Your supporters will eventually realize how poorly you think of them.

At least them Dems' messaging problems come from being "the other party" and having nearly as many wants and needs as they have members. The 'Pubs are having the exact same problem, except their ever-changing messages come from one guy. If they weren't such terrible people I'd feel bad for them having to try and keep up with a random number generator.

What I wouldn't give for Trump to get into a petulant little rage and go on stage and tell people to boycott rigged elections.

I wonder what Obama could tweet just before the klan rally starts that would tip him over the edge

That Trump shiat himself when he visited the WH after the '16 election. That should do it.

Ah, this will sure motivate the voting base that is turning on politicians for not being behind trump's steal attempt enough.  I'm sure these very fine, normal people will be thrilled to get behind a politician that admits their GEOTUS has lost.

I disagree that "bad mood" is his perpetual and default state. His mood is entirely dependent on the last thing someone said to him or the last thing someone did to him. If they praised him or gave him a Big Mac and two scoops of ice cream, he's in a good mood. If they issued even mild criticism or asked him to eat his vegetables, he's in a bad mood.

and he'll say some sh*t at the rally about how the election was stolen or rigged and they're fighting it and it's such a shame that their voices aren't being heard and they'll lap it up and cheer and holler for him and the startling lack of self awareness (or any awareness for that matter) will continue and the cycle of idiocy that results in Republicans being elected to anything will be perpetuated by a bunch of lower class idiots completely ignorant of the fact that they're being manipulated by people with more money than they'll ever see in their lifetimes

f*ckin' Georgia, man.

I fully expect Turnips visit to be nothing more than a petulant rage screed that ends in telling them to not vote because it's rigged. The GOP deserves being choked out by the monster they've spent 60 years creating.

I disagree.

If Trump who is blatantly using the office to his own gain and only cares if it makes him money and fame not only fails to convince them of the GOPs thought and feelings on them, but causes them to double and triple down on their support and become even more rapid voters.... I doubt they'll ever catch on.

GOP leadership could come out and say "we hate you, we all think you're the dumbest people and easy to grift and get you to vote for us" and they'd farking cheer.  They'd want more.

Not to get your hopes up (okay, getting your hopes up) here's how this is playing in Freeperville Trumplandia (actual copy and pasta):

"And Trump is going to be stumping for Perdue's election tomorrow night. Screw Perdue. "

"One would be insane to vote for this RINO. "

"Its what these idiot never trumpers like erickson want. Keep senate dump Trump. "

"Here's the deal. Winning the senate may actually be a bad thing for conservatives. Having a rino controlled senate could actually hurt us. "

"Trump winning and cleaning up the Georgia election system should be our sole focus for now, especially the people in Georgia. Not the Senate race, which is still over a month away. "

"Republican politicians must be the most stupid of politicians. Just cannot, just do not know when to keep their stupid mouths shut. "

"The game is fixed, or has all this voting fraud just sailed over your head? And why in the world would Trump hold a rally for this guy, someone who is calling Biden the winner? "

"The very least that Loeffler and Perdue can do is to support Trump with the same effort that he is supporting them. Also, don't refer to Biden as the president-elect until the Georgia vote is legally tabulated & properly certified. Until that time, DON'T VOTE, PERIOD. Not for an R and not for a D. "

"Of course Perdue accepts this. He stands for nothing so why would he think to fight for the President or even his own RINO azz. "

I respectfully disagree: I do not think he is capable of achieving a "good mood" state.  I think everyone simply mistakes "not in a bad mood" for "good mood" because he's not throwing a tantrum, and it's such a relief it puts everyone else in a good mood, and they simply project that on Trump.  Seriously, when have you seen him smile?  I don't mean that half-assed pandering smirk he always gives, I mean a genuine happy smile that goes beyond turning the corners of his mouth up?  Have you ever heard him laugh?  Actually laugh with genuine mirth?

No, I don't think "good mood" is within his emotional capabilities.  Only "not yelling at people".

The putative leader of the Republican party encourages Republicans not to vote, with a good chance of ruining the party's election chances in future.

Con:
Republicans will be more likely to stage armed assaults on Democracy.

Welp, that's Republicans in a nutshell.

Some Dem PAC should blast ads of Perdue's comments on Youtube, local TV, and even billboards nonstop until the runoff.  Heck, throw some good old fashioned GOP-style scaremongering in there while you're at it.  "If this is what we caught Perdue saying, just imagine what Loeffler thinks.  Boycott the vote!"

I have another angle to help split the vote or keep people from out.

A bunch of these people are accelerationists.  They want to make things worse so they can revolt and take over.

So put out ads along the lines of "let the dems get the senate so everyone can truly see how bad it will get under these socialist dogs and then they'll come crawling to us to be saved!"
