Boston, that's weird. But with enough green screen and compositing I guess you can shoot anywhere.

That's why they're using the left field at Fenway.

What, they could not get permission to film at Mar-a-Lago?

You didn't know that it was Ben Kenobi: CSI, did you?  Ben uses the force to solve crimes and turn criminal's lives around in modern Boston.

I'm watching The Mandalorian right now and the way Sackhoff says Bo-Katan's name it sounds like "Boca Tan".

And Ashoka is a BAD ASS.  She's like some kind of vengeful spirit.  With lightsabers.

Today's episode blew my balls off.

"There was no further information on exactly where filming will be in Boston."

In the Great Boston Desert one would suppose.

I would watch that!

They should have him magically teleported to Earth and do a hilarious "fish out of water" comedy.

Hey, it worked for "Master of the Universe," right?

Um, I'm a tad confused. Tatooine is a desert planet. Why would they not film in, say AZ or NM? Boston? What, is Ben going to sign up for classes at Emerson?

Does this mean we'll have to suffer through a Mark Walberg cameo?

And, FTFA:

"Tatooine-a harsh desert world where farmers toil in the heat of two suns while trying to protect themselves and their loved ones from the marauding Tusken Raiders. A backwater planet on the edge of civilized space. And an unlikely place to find a Jedi Master in hiding, or an orphaned infant boy on whose tiny shoulders rests the future of a galaxy.

Unfortunately, thanks to yuppies and gentrification, all the old Somerville/Chelsea/Eastie/Southie jokes don't work anymore.

They're setting it up here?

You remember the first-season episode where the Yankees fan (lamely and unwisely in real life) taunts the Cheers crowd after the Red Sox lose? In this version, Obi-Wan cuts off his arm with a light sabre.

I guess you have the "wretched hive of scum and villainy" joke covered. I don't need to do one, or mention Washington, DC, at all.

At least they are using a decent actor unlike the Solo movie guy with 0 charisma.

So will the plot be about Kenobi planting one of the Rebels in the Empire as a mole while, at the same time, the Empire has one of their men posing as a Rebel?
