Say the right combination of magic words and you'll win the case.

Walker: Already solved. Kraken harpooned and drowned.
[Fark user image 370x655]

The Kraken case is still ongoing before a Federal court (i.e. hasn't been thrown out yet).  The case dismissed this morning was filed in the Wisconsin Supreme Court case by Trump lawyers.   The Trump gang also filed a new case in Federal court yesterday against the Wisconsin Election Commission.  They're trying to overwhelm the system by filing the same bullshiat over and over again hoping something will stick.

They don't seem to be overwhelming very well

Quite underwhelming in substance.  Here in Minnesota a local Republican lawyer has filed 7 cookie-cutter cases in the last couple of days in the same district court.  She also has another case before the Minnesota Supreme Court that she filed in late November.

Nice that the Wisconsin Supreme Court threw it out though. That was one of their best options.

At this point, they should just send in Charlie Day, in character as Charlie, to just yell about bird law in hopes of decertifying Pennsylvania.

Toss enough hookers and blow into the mix, and almost anything will stick - to the walls, the ceiling, the chairs....

Al Gore had his recount in one county, of one state shutdown real quick to keep it from hurting the republican in the race. tr*** has been allowed to shiat all over multiple states court systems in order to placate him and republicans. This system is rigged in favor of republicans, and it's not  subtle or hidden right out there and  so obvious only the willfully ignorant could miss it. shiat like this is why I have so much contempt for republicans/conservatives.

Based on the Clash of the Titans movie, it's remake, and now this election, I'm starting to get the feeling the Kraken really isn't all that much of a threat.  "Not all it's cracked up to be", if you will.

Her legal strategy is to will a win into existence without facts or evidence?

Does this involve someone putting a finger on the top of her head while she spins around speaking in tongues?

Cos I'd watch that.

This sounds like the summary judgment standard if it was really poorly worded. There are lots of cases where the parties agree on the facts and the dispute is about whose side the law is on. Take for example an employment discrimination case, where the dispute is whether the firing decision was illegally discriminatory, not whether the person was fired.

I kind of doubt this is one of those cases, though.

Has anyone made a bingo card for election legal challenge bullshiat yet? Best hurry up with that before these case filings start getting rejected as judges deem them unworthy of clogging up the courts.

By stick you mean desperately trying to find a sycophantic judge that "will see what we see" IE be treasonous assholes long enough one of the cases will make it to their puppet supreme court

Can someone please start a GoFundMe to have all of these people publicly flogged and abandoned in the desert without water?

jst3p: I am not a lawyer, is this like saying "Trust us your honor, we are right so just rule in our favor"?

I mean, pretty much every complaint, brief, and oral argument essentially says that.

The "we are likely to prevail on the merits" line is a requirement for an injunction. If you want the judge to order a party to stop doing something before having a trial, you have to show that there is a good chance you will win in the end. Otherwise you're wasting the court's time and the other party's time and money.

Hagedorn hasn't proven to be a TOTAL hack yet, though his resemblance to Ned Flanders with a beard makes it hard to believe.  And Roggensack gets aged out in 2023.  So if you can get people excited about an off, off year statewide race you've got it made!

Cargo Cult lawyering has been the basis for the Sovereign movement for years. Nothing new in that crowd.
-
We shouldn't be surprised it has percolated to the top of the GOP, just like Q, the Tea Party, and the rest of the fabrications originally intended for the low-information suckers.
-
/Just be glad it hasn't percolated into their judicial picks. Yet, anyway.

You gotta leverage the synergy of very robust legal terms to create a world class, cutting edge, legal argument based on core competencies that will disrupt the system.

Also not a lawyer, but I read a few of these that said "we've hired a team to analyze the data and once they do that we'll have evidence of cheating. We'll give you our manufactured evidence as soon as we have it so based on that please throw out the mail in ballots now."

You can file a motion to dismiss as soon as you finish writing it. At that point it's up to the judge and their calendar.
