What letters though?  I'm going to guess that "u" is one of them because it just isn't used in America like it is in Britain.

If "u" is one of the letters stuffed inside, does that mean America is going to go back to spellings like labour and colour?  Or will it just be kept as a strategic "u" supply to sell to Canada when they run low?

It's New York, so I assume the letter "f" was in there as well.

The half-pint milk bottle contained four rare coins: an 1863 Civil War money piece, an 1863 Haitian centime, an 1881 Indian Head penny and a 1905 Indian Head penny.
Sounds awfully racist. These items should be destroyed.

About four decades ago, I was working in construction. On one house that was a hundred years old at the time I was restoring it, we found a lot of stuff that had fallen behind the hearth of an old chimney. It was pretty trivial stuff, but it intrigued me. About a month later, when replacing some stairs outside of the house, I found a great place to stash a time capsule of my own.

I put a newspaper, a letter, some money, and other things tightly in small jar and stashed it. Maybe it will make the news someday. The house is on the National Register of Historical Places, so it will probably be around a hundred years from now when someone goes to replace the porch stairs.

When we remodeled our kitchen i wrote on the floor:
"The treasure is hidden under the 2nd tile from...."
...and never finished the sentence.
I am evil.
