He will be a great Senator

I suspect he will be a good Senator, but I also suspect that the very first day of the new session he'll introduce gun control legislation, which is doomed to fail. I understand why he's going to do it and I can't blame him for it, but I hope he can branch out and not be a one-trick-pony like the last person who won election under similar circumstances (Carolyn McCarthy).

Having to run again in 2022 sucks. He basically has 6 to 8 months to accomplish something before he has to start campaigning for the next election cycle. Hopefully the opponent he faces will be too dim to knock him for a lack of in-office accomplishments. Also I'm beginning to think Moscow Mitch is blocking further stimulus payments to voters as a way to piss them off at every single seated politician during an election cycle where he won't even be on the ballot.

I hope he doesn't poke that hornet's nest too much, he might wind up on the wrong end of an ATF conspiracy investigation.

From the Form 4473: I certify that my answers in Section B are true, correct, and complete. I have read and understand the Notices, Instructions, and Definitions on ATF Form 4473. I understand that answering "yes" to question 21.a. if I am not the actual transferee/buyer is a crime punishable as a felony under Federal law,and may also violate State and/or local law.

Not anymore they aren't. After Scott went into space, it was found that their DNA doesn't exactly match anymore.
And the reason Mark didn't go was to act as a control.

So do we even know who people really voted for? Were ballot observers allowed to get close enough to verify DNA samples? This is clearly the clearest evidence of a fraudulently rigged election anybody's found so far.

That is the thing many do not understand. A *LOT* of Democrats both love and own a large variety of firearms. Many also own actual Machine Guns- all legal, as some of us give a damn about the rule of law, even if it hurts sometimes ( what the hell do you mean I have to pay a damn tax on my CRV and the beer ? !!! " )

I am also a fan of projectile weaponry, many consider me an expert in some apsects, I think i am mostly okay.
Who knows.
I do know that a certain type of weapon has no business just being in everyones house or car.
I am a big fan of shooting clubs where those kinds of weapons are stored in a secure armoury where members of the clubs can check them out and hit the range- hell, they can even bring a guest and their own reloads ( if they have passed the reloading exam , advanced level ) .

Shotgun (s ) ? Fine. Deer / Elk / Moose / Bear rifle (s)  or 15, based on the need and the specifics ? Of course. Match grade sharpshooters guns, because you compete ? No farking kidding.
Collector ? Its a good idea to have those registered, in case of theft. Actually, all weapons should be documented in that case, or a disaster ( ask your insurance agent - they will not lie to you about your recovery options if you ever want to get that Weatherby reimbursed ) .

I do not want the damn government to take away your weapons,a few do.  I just think we have to start thinking about this in a common sense way. Like building in fire prone areas, I think the underwriters for the insurance compan ies will end up creating the paperwork that will become a bill and then law .

Anyhow, thats my .370 Winchester cents

Ummmm wouldn't that be the provided O2? If you are smelling space you gonna be dying soon.

When it comes to "space" our senses fail. You can't feel it, smell it, taste it or hear it. I'm not even sure you can see it. You can see physical objects through the void but you can't "see" space itself. It's the absence of everything we know. Kinda weird to think about.

Corvus: South West is becoming all blue!

I've been thinking about this lately, pondering out the underlying demographics. I suspect it may be a product of understanding where educated people tend to move to. Priced out of California and hate the NE? But educated and employable? Those people maybe aren't likely to move to the mid-west and also not the South.
Heck, I'm that person. Educated, employable, and dis-like the NE. I probably don't want to pony up the $ to move to CA. So... Hello albuquerque, or maybe Tucson or Sedona.
