The point is not to win lawsuits.  The point is to continue to collect "defense" money.

My favorite new analogy for this comes from my blog today.

"You have been called.  It's time to show your cards."  And with that, the GOP lays down a pair of deuces that obviously came from another pack of cards and claims that they won the hand!

//That's not actually from my blog.  It's from the story that I linked to from my blog.

I didn't see a 'hereby claim' by the judge either so this isn't official

And not once has one of his attorneys asserted any type of actual fraud in front of a  judge.

The oft repeated "There's just NO POSSIBLE WAY that Biden got more votes than Trump!" seems to be enough 'proof' for them.

How loose are election laws that Trump solicits donors under the guise of continuing these sham lawsuits and yet exempts anything under $8,000 from actually going towards this cause and, instead, runs that money back into his now *failed* campaign?  Sure seems like fraud to me.  Wish he would just do away with the pretense.

"t's not even clear to the Court that the named Defendants are the proper parties to this lawsuit with respect to this particular form of relief that the Plaintiffs are seeking."

The best people.

This is basically what Ted "Totally The Zodiac Killer" Cruz said: he basically said that it's up to Pennsylvania to prove election fraud didn't happen, not for Trump to prove that it did.

So I demand that Ted Cruz be arrested and held in prison until he can prove he is not, in fact, the Zodiac Killer.  Because that's totally how this works, right, Ted?

A pair?  No.  They called with an 8, a coupon for a buy-one-get-one free Betamax at Blockbusters, and a Polaroid taken of a computer screen showing an article about a royal flush.

Lex Luthor is a decent job creating American.  why do we constantly attack this leader of American enterprise for his noted love of confections.

America has suffered enough from the deep-dish conspiracy actors who have derided good standing industrialists through their constant restrictive regulation and mainstream media attacks.  Not to mention thier love of super powered illegal aliens.

"Mr. President... solve this differential equation."
"Mr. President... pass this 9th-grade spelling test."
"Mr. President... show us your taxes."
"Mr. President... resurrect this dead platypus."

Anything else you want to ask him to do, while you're at it?

So, again, at what point do the lawyers get sanctioned for filing frivolous lawsuits? Or is there really no penalty for doing so, beyond losing your money? Which of course, dump is not doing. He's losing the money of the idiots that keep sending it in.

But really, can you just keep filing lawsuit after lawsuit as long as you are willing to eat the attorney and court costs?

The point is to keep appealing to the Supreme Court.

Remember, in his mind there are three justices there that "owe" him.

1) Sydney Powell.
2) It was Sydney Powell, so it probably had to do with needing extra time to dig up Hugo Chavez' grave so he could testify about the fraud.

Powell and Lin wanted the courts to preserve the machines for inspection and block Georgia from certifying results and send it to the state legislature to award the delegates to their preferred candidate. The judge awarded the former but did not address the latter before the court case. As a result Powell and Lin are appealing on a matter they ostensibly won.

Not even, it's like that except instead of laying down a pair from another deck, they get called and put down a hand comprised of 1 normal card and the rest are UNO cards.

Two deuces? Seriously? Having listened to some of them in court, I'd liken it more to them showing up with the deed to Park Place, the Old Maid and a "horny white justice" card from Cards Against Humanity.

Here's my strawman argument for today. (I like workshopping these in Reddit and on Twitter, where a lot of conservatives have called me a Commie, but nobody ever sticks around for more than a few exchanges, so they're mostly in my head.)

"But there's an affidavit signed under oath by someone who claims to have seen someone filling out Biden ballots on the side of a truck!"

Okay. You're sure that's what they were doing. They got a good enough look to know that this guy was signing fake ballots for Biden. All right - so what kind of truck was it?

What was the license plate number?

Was it a Ford, a Chevy, a Toyota? What did it look like? Dual headlights or single? How old was it? What color? Clean or dirty? The person doing the signing - male or female? How tall? Dark hair or light, long hair or short? What were they wearing? Hoodie, sweatpants, T-shirt, skirt, cargo shorts, what kind of shoes?

If you're close enough to see the Biden ballots and to identify them as Biden ballots, you're close enough to give a description to the police, to start an investigation. It's already been established by Trump's defenders that you can't see what a ballot says from a distance. You can pick the truck out of a lineup, at least. These "I saw someone faking shiat" stories are extraordinarily light on details. They're just enough to excite Trumpists.

That's why Trump has pretty much abandoned the legal argument and is going for a PR sell, trying to get friendly legislatures to front their own electors. When your entire case collapses when someone says "What did they look like?" you don't have a case.
