An increasingly irrelevant property in Star Wars trying to get propped up by an increasingly irrelevant vidya game. Pathetic.

I guess fortnite is trying to be the poster child for "the more thigns change, the more they stay the same."

also, from another article I saw

Epic Games and Twitch are warning streamers who broadcast during Fortnite's season-ending Marvel-crossover "Nexus War" event last night that they may need to delete their VOD clips to avoid the risk of DMCA copyright strikes.
The event, which saw players take on the world-eating Galactus in a ten-minute battle, featured AC/DC's Demon Fire as a licensed background song during a portion set in the game's iconic Battle Bus. Thus, shortly before the event started, the official Fortnite Status Twitter account warned Twitch streamers that "we cannot prevent your VOD/clip content from getting flagged by the platform's copyright detection systems. The general recommendation is to either mute your VoDs or turn off VODs/clips entirely to protect yourselves against any kind of claims or strikes as best as possible."

A Dragon Ball Z - Stratego mashup would work. As long as you could reign in all the power levels over 9000 and such.

The streamers started doing prop hunt, proximity voice, random colors and other mods. That's a telltale sign a game is getting stake.

The new map is supposed to drop Dec 10. I hope that map is good, honestly.

Meh, Among Us is soo two weeks ago.  Most of my followed streamers are on to Phasmophobia now.

what happens in 2 weeks?

Not surprising, since Epic and Disney already have an agreement going, and have previously used Star Wars, and Marvel stuff I game, so The Mano is no big surprise. Disney just says yes, sits back and counts the free money rolling in to them. Epic are the ones doing the hard work on this

OK, as a 41 year old, I can admit the live event yesterday was pretty cool...especially when AC/DC came on.

The new Battle Pass gives you Mando at level 1, from the beginning, but it's going to be a couple of weeks grinding up to level 99 for Grogu. Hopefully he makes cute sounds and claps with every kill

I think Tim Sweeney's head would explode if that were to happen.

I'd kind of like to see that.
