As a useful website, Facebook is way better. But Myspace never collected and used your data against you, either.

I had a MySpace account, once upon a time.. though I didn't join until after NewsCorp bought them.  After a while, every time I logged in, I had 20 friend requests from supposedly 18 year old girls who wanted me to 'Click here to see my real nude pics!'

And the things people did to their own profiles were truly hideous.

So he can have all the toxic auto-loading self-executing virus files he wants?  MySpace's customization options were nice initially but it devolved into a virus-laden garbage fire.

Hey, I got laid like 2.5 times because of Myspace back in 2007-9. You really had to put in the work back then. Exchange a few messages, get their AIM handle and eventually phone number, all for a handy in a Cheesecake Factory parking lot.

Those were the days.

I liked MySpace and I think I've figured out why, I didn't have any family on it besides my daughter. Once I got on fb I added all the family I had that were also there. With MS I had mostly music artists as friends and I got to listen to lots of new and fresh music. There wasn't room for politics and virtue signaling and all the other crap that flooded fb and made me walk away from it. It was simply a fun environment and I didn't have to worry about getting called out by more conservative family if I posted some song that shocked them.
