"How dare you certify the results of a fair and free election! How DAAAAAAAAARRRRE you, Madam!"

2020-12-01 9:49:10 PM
She was required to certify the elections by today. Basically, the people chanting that the media can't choose the winner are using media to choose the winner.

Anyway, I'm hoping that everyone supporting these insane, anti-democratic lawsuits and pseudo-lawsuits just dies.

Obviously this is long-range Democratic planning solely to mess up the Trump campaign," said Republican commissioner Bob Spindell.

This was a cunning plan to mess with Trump by getting more votes.

If there was a massive multi-state conspiracy...why was the only race impacted was the race for POTUS? Sounds like a pretty shiatty conspiracy, if it was the Dems.

/ the GOP now... they did surprisingly well this election. Much higher then expected, in fact. One might even be excused for thinking that the GOP...plotted against our beloved Fuhrer...

This has now become just a mad caucus race to prove a point.

They can't win. They won't win. None of these cases will get to the Supreme Court, because there aren't enough justices to grant cert, and if there were, there's nothing to decide. And if they push it through to Congress...then Pelosi becomes President Pro Tem. Whose first act will be to certify the election and install Biden.

But they HAVE to win AT LEAST ONE STATE, because...because! They have to!

The question I have been asking is, "If it is so easy for the Democrats to cheat and deny Trump a second term then why did they not cheat and deny him a first term back in 2016?" And in 2016 there were 33.1 million votes that were mailed in, roughly 24% of the 138 million total votes cast. Yeah, more votes were sent by mail this election but there more than enough back in 2016 to use to steal the election.

Many people think that the Americans went too far and elected a complete imbecile when Trump won in 2016. Fact is that they'd be doing it for DECADES. Trump wasn't even that exceptional as far as moronic American politicians go. The American government is chock a block full of morons as moronic as Trump ever moroned.

Ignoring the puffery from the folks that happily vote for Paul Ryan, Scott Walker, and take on $1,800 tax burden per taxpayer so Foxconn can eminent domain some village,

this part was interesting:
"Wisconsin law dictates that the chair position should rotate between a Democrat and Republican every two years."

That cycle means it is ALWAYS a Democratic chairperson at the helm of the WI Elections Commission during presidential election years. I find this hard to believe, assuming a legislative decision could change this, given the bonkers crap the Wisconsin legislature consistently pulls.

Not that a chairmanship of an election committee should change the outcome of an election, but:
1. It could certainly impact the timing/efficiency of processing, which seems to be a major goal of the Republican party at this point
2. Again, referring to this legislature in particular, they absolutely *would try* to change the outcome of the election this go-round knowing they'd get cover from above (DOJ, Executive & Senate)

Just hard to believe R's didn't claim election years, or that it's not a 3-year cycle, or even "only R's can chair this commission". Kudos to Dems!

To a point yes but most aren't as openly venal, duplicitous, vile, and corrupt as Trump. Take Scooter Walker as a great example: he's moronic, duplicitous, vile, and possibly (likely) was corrupt. However everything he did had just a thin veneer over it to make it more palatable, like his hero the great whore, Ronnie Raygun.

Granted most Rethuglicans only huge a shiat about STIGGINIT today, so why waste the time trying to make it look good overall?

Just a minor point to consider.

Your deliberate misspelling/name-calling is putting you on about the same level as Trump, with his set of verbal barbs that a six year old would think as crude.

No, I meant like, pose as one of them and push the fact that the GOP did well everywhere EXCEPT the Presidential race in this totally rigged election as evidence that the Establishment Republicans plotted against Trump.

If that idea actually took off among the Trump Cult, it might actually be enough to get some of them to not vote Republican in future elections.
