Make critical thinking a mandatory part of all educational curricula.  Start teaching basic logic concepts early and progress from there.

Don't teach people what to think, teach them how to think.

In this particular case?

Having a school system that promotes critical thinking.

And not just creating worker bees who can get "jobs".

Yes.

Proper education.

From the people I know through connections that believe in Qanon... almost all of them were homeschooled or they were homeschooling their kids. They have been living in their own little world, disconnected from reality for a long time.

Homeschooling should be illegal, it only creates nutjobs.

Japan's community is perhaps most notable for its reverence of Flynn. He only served in the Trump administration for 24 days and resigned after acknowledging he had misled Vice President Mike Pence over communications with the Russian ambassador; he later pleaded guilty to lying to federal agents about their conversation and was pardoned by Trump last week. The Japanese group even styles itself QArmyJapanFlynn after the former general who popularized "digital soldiers," a term many Q supporters use to describe themselves.

You guys really need better role models. Don't you have home grown war criminals or something to idolize, instead of using our 2nd rate nincompoop traitors?

Okabayashi also expressed belief in domestic conspiracy theories, such as the baseless claim that Japan's political and business elite -- including the prime minister -- are foreigners intent on exploiting and ultimately exterminating the Japanese race.

There's a real shocker. Conspiracy loons everywhere tend to believe in multiple, often contradictory conspiracies. In general they aren't very good at dealing with reality and have craptastic critical thinking skills.

Adherents have even suggested, without evidence, that Japanese hit movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," which involves demons eating people, is meant to acclimate people to QAnon conspiracies about pedophilia and cannibalism.

The Japanese Q loons definitely share something with their American brethren, namely being dumber than a sack of door knobs.

Do you know the way to Mordor: So is the latest conspiracy that in the basement of a Japanese Okonomiyaki parlour which doesn't actually have a basement, there was a secret cabal of schoolgirl panty-sniffing pedos that painted a sign in Hiroshima which said "Drop the A-bomb here"?

Now I want okonomiyaki

I have you farkied as Aum Shinrikyo since that is all you ever post about anymore.

Sometimes I yell about copyrights, I often mock Trump too.

But in my defense, at this this thread:
✅ mentions a cult
✅ is about Japan

Aum Shinrikyo is a terrorist cult of Japanese origin.

I attempted to explain this to my Fox News watching mother years ago:

Information is like water. It can be 99.9% pure, but the smallest poison or impurity will kill you and contaminate the batch.

Fox enabled this. NBC enabled this. Major corporations enabled this.

We are in a zombie economy now which is resembling a runaway freight train, and there ain't no Denzel coming to stop it.

I'd also put some of the blame on the likes of YouTube and Facebook. Specifically, their algorithms that promoted extreme right-wing nonsense to vulnerable people.

Don't teach people what to think, teach them how to think.

This would require that the people who benefit from misleading the masses promote and support tools that take away their benefit.

It will never happen.

Did you ever read the novel Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson where there's a linguistic "computer" virus that wipes people's mind and makes them reprogrammable? I'm beginning to think QAnon is like that, a human mind computer virus that is transmitted by written words and videos on the internet, but it just makes people stupid.

From the OP: "QAnon virus on the rise now in Japan..."

We don't call it the "QAnon Virus", we all prefer "The USA Virus."

What? Well that's where it come from, right. Right?

I spend a lot of time talking about revolutionary leaders and revolutionary thought in a high school world history class and sometimes I find myself actively encouraging dissent.  It just pops out of my mouth, honestly.
