Ooh, The Professor and the Madman.

Loved the book, really enjoyed the movie.  Say what you like about their off screen antics, Gibson and Penn are really good at what they do.  Plus, Mel's Scottish accent is mooch better than 'n Brave'art.

Bobbleheads the Movie? Wow, even by Netflix standards that's really scraping the bottom of the barrel there.

Pauly Shore's Guest House might be fun.

Well, I'm working from home within earshot of the TV. Mrs. Henry is wrapping gifts whilst watching Hallmark Christmas movie.
Every -G'damn-thing on that Netflix list looks better than the tinsel-embedded cat poo oozing out my television right now.

I really enjoyed Chef--highly recommend it.  But then, I'm a sucker for anything Jon Favreau does.

I heard there was a lot of sexual harassment from the top down, real skeevy shiate that impacted production.

Um Quigley Down Under is on that list. Love that movie.

And I'm really happy about Stargate being back. It was due for a rewatch.

I've seen Mank. Gary Oldman should be a shoe-in for an Oscar, especially with the lack of competition.

It came highly recommended by a friend who has similar interests, and the faux-claymation intro had me excited.

Then I realized it was reality TV, when it had been described to me as a documentary. Turned it off 30 seconds in. I don't care how good the premise is, or how talented the creators are, if you shoot it "reality style" with 4 cameras in one room, with perspective cuts every three seconds, it's a nope.

Too bad, if they'd done it right instead of cheap and lazy, it could have been really compelling.

Sabrina, Shawn the Sheep (if this is a different llama episode?), and a buttload of meh.

Meh.

OP is talking about the feature length film called Chef from 2014.Maybe the newer reality show Favreau is doing with a similar title isn't for you, but the movie is fun and features himself, John Leguizamo, and lots of cameos. Fun story about restaurant and food truck culture, and one of the better movies currently on Netflix.

He's thinking of the Chef coking show which is a spin off from the movie where they cook all the foods from the film with random famous chefs and celebs.  It's actually kind of an interesting show.

But yea, the movie is what his friend was talking about.  He watched the wrong show.

It all came out in late 2019, if you're interested - https://www.inverse.com/article/60971-dragon-prince-aaron-ehasz-controversy - is a decent link to learn more. I haven't heard anything else about the show's production since, so please don't hold your breath, you'll turn a shade of Glow-toad.

I saw that and others. Looking for an update, though, and I found this from July: https://www.inverse.com/entertainment/dragon-prince-season-4-release-date-confirmed-saga-comic-con-panel

So maybe but now I'm mixed.

George Clooney post-apocalyptic film Midnight Sky

Those are what I'm looking forward to

Couple on there that I'd like to see, like Disenchantment, Mank, Midnight Sky, and Nocturnal animals. But Kipo and the age of Wonderbeasts wrapping up and really satisfying way, Santa Clarita Diet being cancelled, and their horrible selection of horror movies, like not even good in a bad way, it's getting harder to justify keeping Netflix around. I used to hate Amazon, but if you're willing to do some digging you can find some gems in their crazy catalog that you don't have to pay for. Even if we weren't using a friends account I'd probably get it just because they have a lot of independent horror, admittedly a lot of it is bad, but there are plenty that are bad in a fun way.

It's not a reality show, and was described to you wrong.

If you went into it expecting a documentary, of course you didn't like it, since it's a comedy/drama.

If you don't mind subtitles, "Inhuman Resources" on Netflix is pretty good.
