Butte is about an hour away from where I've lived for 20+ years and I've never eaten at this restaurant!  I will have to check it out when the pandemic ends.

Do you make Chinese food? perhaps we should swap some recipes in his honor. Here's a simple start. I know without measuring that if I squeeze the juice out of a can of chunk pineapple I will have one cup. Add a cup of cider vinegar and a cup of white sugar. A few dashes of hot sauce for color and corn starch to thicken. Simple but I get rave reviews for sweet and sour pork

He died exactly 13 years after the death of another Butte icon, Evel Knievel. Now he is serving dinner to Evel after he jumps over 14 clouds with his motorcycle.

When I was living in Montana, I met a couple people that grew up in Butte with Evel. I was informed he was an asshole.

Then again met a guy who told me about his buddies throwing snowballs at the weird dude riding his bike in the snow to the mail office outside of Lincoln... I asked him in retrospect, if that was the smartest decision.

Didn't know about this restaurant though, that's pretty cool! Wouldn't expect it to be in Butte.

I lived in Butte for 3+ years and I regret not eating at Pekin and also I never ate a Wop Chop. Every other "iconic" eatery I tried while I was there. RIP Successful Asian Man.
