If Hell had a place where you could take a break from getting pineapples shoved up your ass next to Hitler, it'd be a room where you'd have to watch vintage Price Is Right episodes.

So, what sub-level of streaming has to settle for the Tom Kennedy and Doug Davidson syndicated episodes?

Bukharin: more holly hallstrom  please

She was super cute. Barker should have been hog-tied, beaten with a sack of over-ripe oranges, and left out in the desert for being shiatty to her

/Why, no
//I have no strong feelings about a very old topic

Holly arrived on The Price is Right the same year that I learned how to fap.  There may have been some crossover events between those two factoids.

/yes, I'm old

If so, then my grandma is really enjoying hell.

No thanks but I'll still watch Match Game on buzzr.

I dunno if that'll last long if it's gonna steal Carey's thunder. Hell, even Doug Davidson's take would steal Drew's thunder. Isn't that why Buzzr doesn't want to air Bob's era?

Low budget, free TV is the future.

From the amount of YouTube I watch...yeah pretty much? And on the other end you have The Mandalorian, which is very much a throwback sort of shot like..imagine if Airwolf had an 8-figure budget.

I think there's plenty of room for both models.  TV never killed off movie theaters.

Awesome.

Also, Drew Carey will never be as cool as Bob Barker was.

Are these the episodes where Bob Barker had female contestants play the " Reach into my pants pocket to see what l got" contest?

I don't see why it would affect the viewing habits of current TPIR viewers. It's not the same trying to play along with 80's, 90's, or even 00's TPIR because of the drastic difference in price- I certainly couldn't begin to try guessing the price of a new 1983 Ford Escort or a can of green beans.

/vintage TPIR = great background viewing
//getting a kick out of seeing 3 Strikes played with 4 digits
///could do without Penny Ante

I've been enjoying vintage Let's Make a Deal where the cars cost the same as color TVs.

I'm not expecting Drew to act just like Bob Barker, but Carey still does not have the cadence.

I've developed a drinking game for every "good luck" he says much too often.

"Your penis is worth $100?"

Love it, but 70s Price is Right is where it's at: Godawful carpets, cars the size of a house, wood panelling...

The 70s episode where the excited lady in a tube top ran down to contestants row and lost her top in the process.  Of course, the camera cut away but my 13 year old eyes caught enough.

And there seemed to be a lot of bra less ladies on game shows. Oh high def, where were you?
