To be fair, these people have been waiting for their Krystallnacht, and it never happened. All they can hope for now is their Nacht der langen Messer. And they're only carrying Swiss Army knives, so it's just disappointing. They were promised blood, but no one told them they'd have to do the heavy lifting. This was supposed to be televised. So much disappointment.

Any Democrat who said anything like this in public, let alone at an interview, would be excommunicated from the party so fast it would travel back in time and make the excom retroactive. And then arrested.

The utter silence of the party of seditious treason tells all.

Many years ago, I was reading aloud from a book on the Crusades, and it was about the sack of Constantinople.  And this old guy walks in to pick up the attendance sheets as I'm talking about 'raping the nuns'.. awkward.

And some assholes are somehow comparing tomlegit investigations that democrats (and Republicans) did over the past 4 years... that actually found crimes, is on the same level as this shiat.

Just because it's a stupid coup it doesn't matter.  It's no biggie that they're calling for executions and trying to get all democrats ballots thrown out and has the entire republican establishment behind it.  It's totally the same as that one time a couple of trump's transition team members were listened in on while talking to known Russian agents so they started an investigation.

Totally on par.

I am not a law taliking liar like this person , but I know enough to not say anything that could be used as evidence against me in a court of law. Like inciting people to kill others ( despite what some butthurt panty twisted mod thinks about me giving a recipe and placement for napalm ) .

Anyhow- there will always be an other side to any argument. It is the weak side that goes with violence first. Because they have nothing of value or merit to offer- just their anger.
We cannot be like that. We can be angry. We should be angry. But we should bury them without being the lowlife dregs of lifeform oxygen thieves that they are. And we can. We will .

Man, I hope nobody that aren't these people get hurt, but I really hope these farks actually start pulling some shiat.

It will show the world Hillary wasn't lying when she called them deplorable and maybe get some of these moderate/independents some balls to actually demand action.

These idiots are just the worst.  They can't see that Mitch through the Trump admin has set up conservatives for generations, but they're so tied up into a single figure of that party to not see how made they have it.  Biden being president doesn't mean shiat.  He's a moderate democrat, he's not going to pass socialist agenda.  And anything moderately good for the country is going to be dismantled by SCOTUS inbetween them dismantling settled law that will free up regulations left and right.

In fact, the only thing that I can see stopping that is these dumbasses actually starting some shiat.  So do it you cowards.  Show the country the true republican base.  Let them be known so all these people who think they aren't that bad open their eyes.  It may get real legislation through when nobody thinks we should be nice to them any more.

The difference between Medieval European Christians who were evil, and Steve Bannon, was that there was no system in place to keep Evil Medieval Christians from committing the actions that they did, and that Steve Bannon likely wishes he could.

People today have the same urges and passions that they did in any other point in history.  The only thing that changes is the checks and balances on them.

Im wondering at what point we hit the "It Could Happen Here" timeline.  So many of the priming agents are already set and im afraid what a deep economic depression combined with one of the deadliest plagues in the US in the last 100 years will do to us.  I hear from my mom's friends about how they have family or friends who are openly talking about violently resisting Biden.  Sure, most of those are just backseat Rambos but it only takes a few to create a The Troubles type environment where we are constantly dealing with insurgents.  This country's mental health issues are coming to a head and i dont think anything is gonna stop it from spinning out of control.

I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't believe you'll see consequences for the crime spree that happened during Trump's administration. That said this is the absolutely PERFECT way for Mushroom Donnie to lose. I know my fair share of these idiots.  They're comitted.  I served with a couple of them.

They really think there is a covert war going on and think they are ready to fight for it.

This isn't some itg people talking about how if they were in a mass shooting they'd be the hero.  These are full on delusions.

Like the post a couple above about cia agent and us soldiers being killed...

A simple search that there were no casualties reported for CIA or US military anywhere they mentioned... or anywhere at all.

I pointed that out to a few of them when they were posting about this.... and was told the media is covering it up, but they saw the press releases with their own eyes.

This isn't something they're just going to snap out of January 20th at noon.

They don't think it's over and will think there was an actual theft of the election and will want revenge.

Conservatives can never be placated, because happiness is not their goal.  Spite, revenge, power, greed, but never happiness.

I'm trolling.

But the majority of the PolTab think Snowden is a criminal and should be punished. That irks me.

Irks me like Birks twerks.

To the man himself.

I will believe Trump and his abettors will be punished for their crimes when it actually happens.  Until then, my skepticism remains, and it's backed by historical precedent.

You don't want to go down this road. Trust me.

Dear liberals,

Stop pretending that your side will respond in kind. You just elected a guy who would like nothing more than to forgive and forget for national unity's sake. These conservatives will keep going down this road because they are confident, for good reason, that they won't face any consequences.

"Let me tell you something about liberals, Nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people, as long as their bellies are full and their netflix is working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time and those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people... will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty conservative."

The Republican party is an evil relic of a dark age.  Demographic shifts pull them further away from every having power again.  When president Biden legalizes the 11 million undocumented american citizens, it will be a great day.  It will be the morally right thing to do and will be the official end of republicanism.  I look forward to one day taking my students into a museum, through the "hall of violence" and explaining to them what a Republican was.  They will be stunned that anyone ever believed such things.

Clancy's last "good" novem was written in the early 90s. And, yknow, he's all dead and stuff.

Sadly, this.

Derpublicans don't really have anything coherent enough to call a "plan". With the exception of the occasional True Believer, each one is basically using the party for access to gullible rubes with money (and votes) to burn. Each has his/her own agenda, which sometimes aligns with the agendas of the senior party leadership, but they're mostly in the game for their own entertainment and (especially) enrichment. They're all about the path of least resistance, and the easy way to get power an money is to fleece the low-information portion of the population by pretending to share that group's delusions and insecurities.

The path of least resistance is fading out beneath their feet, so each individual derpublican politician has been flailing about, trying desperately to get the demographic tide to retreat at their command. Adapting to reality has never been the strong suit for any conservative, but the pandering to the lowest common denominator has led to derpublican politicians stuck on stupid. They cannot change policies to appeal to rational voters, because the thick-witted rubes they've been gulling for decades will stop supporting them with money and votes. The rational voters are usually harder to please and are also harder to con with impunity- they might vote for the ex-derpublican, but are less likely to sacrifice Junior's college fund to support parasites such as politicians. It takes hard work to induce well-informed people to support a politician, and derpublicans have let those political muscles atrophy while they've been glutting themselves at troughs full of under-informed voters.

No matter what they do, derpublican politicians are facing their worst fear- irrelevance. Fewer and fewer voters are buying the snake-oil they're selling, and those who do are often slightly unstable. This election has shown them their future- the poorly-educated white male demographic is no longer sufficient to prop up the political career of lazy politicians. Dumb and lazy politicians are even more prone than usual to choose impulsive, short-term solutions to their longer-term problems. So some of them are manically pushing every political button they can find to protect their phony-baloney jobs. Their panic-blinded eyes are locked on their next hit of power and cash, and they are therefore ignoring the likely consequences of their blundering.

Derpublican politicians can't risk pissing off the toddler-in-chief. They can't afford to switch sides without suffering immediate political penalties. They've painted themselves into a corner, and the desperate attempts to get out of the mess they're in are increasingly likely to result in violence from the deranged shiatweasels among us. The political and personal consequences of their panic are far more likely to be detrimental than helpful to those derpublicans and their political futures, but they don't (or can't) care. They're in trouble right now, so they make increasingly risky bets- with lives as the table stakes.

If large-scale political violence breaks out as a result of these stupid decisions by lazy politicians (there have already been scattered incidents), the politicians who stirred it up are likely to lose everything they're trying so desperately to keep. Either the violent actors get quickly curb-stomped or the violence escalates into long-running guerilla warfare. The politicians who started it will be screwed either way. Political violence and societal instability tend to have deleterious effects on profit margins- both political and financial. When their constituents are living in fear of terrorist attacks by their fellow Americans, they'll be unlikely to send money to politicians. Corporate donors and/or rich families would likely be less enthusiastic to support politicians under those circumstances.

But that's all tomorrow. Derpublican politicians are focused on what they want today, confident they can deal with the consequences later. They're just like drug addicts in that respect. Gotta get that next fix- nothing else matters.

And they're pushing to bring back firing squads.. is that really a wall that they want to die on?

Is it this wall? If so, yes.

We are finally starting to see news articles explain where some of this stuff is coming from, even if vaguely. They mention Newsmax because that's the hot new topic to talk about, but the Howie Carr show is an AM Talk Radio show.

I'm glad to see conventional news is starting to pay attention and reporting where this right-wing extremism is coming from.

You would never hear a politician call for executions even on Fox, as shiat as they are, they do have better decorum than that. But AM Talk Radio? You better believe that's where you will get despot wannabes clambering  for more and more extremist views.

But we, who beat them in the election, are supposed to "reach out" to them and "understand" them and "find a middle ground" somewhere between what they want (extermination of non aryans) and what we want ( everyone to be free and safe ).

Nah. Right wingers can get farked and die choking on their own covid.

A deep, dark part of me I'm not proud of would enjoy it if Biden went full trollface and issued blanket pardons to all the swing state governors & SecStates for "any and all activities related to the 2020 election" right after taking office.

Just to make them all lose their everloving minds.

Who are the real monsters on Maple Street? Humans are the real monsters because their minds are full of fear and prejudice. This causes humans to turn on each other.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices...to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill...and suspicion can destroy...and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own-for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.  ~ Rod Serling

One, a native American.

No. Depending on the state, it can be any affected person, lawyer or not, who reports the behavior, or the State Bar can take action itself without any complaint being filed by others,

Everyone file a complaint!

According to a lawyer friend of mine "They may or may not open a complaint investigation on the basis of one out of state complaints, but they will if there are a plethora of complaints."
