It is the 27th century.  Amid the ruins of the Old World, two representatives from the villages of Pitt and Bal come together to perform the ancient rite of The Delaying of the Steel Raven.  No one in living memory knows why the ritual is performed every cycle.

FriarReb98: lindalouwho: THE GAME TIME HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 3:40 ET.

What, exactly, is the point of that??

3:40 p.m. EST is Covid-19s weak point.

AdmirableSnackbar: Farkenhostile: Why do they keep moving this game but they refused to do it to help the broncos?

The Ravens keep getting positive tests.

It's just bird flu!

neglogon: Yet, Denver has to play without a quarterback on Sunday.

field a playoff caliber squad with a Madden cover boy and Goodell will bend over backwards sucking your cock.
He should just learn to do the linda blair head turn instead

Someone was trying to convince me that the league has done a great job because there haven't been any cancelled games.

But when the league position is that nothing will make them cancel a game, it's a bit hard to take that seriously

Wondering if this move to Wednesday indicates that the NFL may be thinking about shutting down for a couple of weeks and pushing the season back.

greentea1985: Apparently the delay is because the Ravens threatened to strike because the Ravens players do not want to play until there have been two days in a row without positive tests. At this rate, it would be simpler to forfeit.

Denver Broncos: "We could do that?"

When they said 3:40, is it am or pm actually went through my mind. All bets and sanity are off.

If the Steelers' players don't get paid for a forfeit...well, force Baltimore to pay their salaries for the game.  Seems fair enough to me.

Also (obligatory):

The Broncos were screwed because they violated protocols, not because they had positive tests. The Ravens keep getting positive tests.
