Blunt referred to Donald Trump as "president-elect" in a statement released the day after the 2016 election when he congratulated Trump on his win over Hillary Clinton.

But of course Dana Bash never brought that up to him.

Thank you republicans, for making the most pressing questions of our times:

-Are pandemics even real?
-Should we stop shooting black people?
-Aren't elections more like suggestions?

Dear GOP

Trump has cucked you.  You don't even realize that you're better off without him (the election confirms this.  He lost decisively yet you picked up seats in the House and didn't completely fumble the Senate).  Cut him lose like the loser he is.

The entire GOP acts like an abused spouse.

He/She just waiting for the restraining order to come through so they can pitch the offending party out but until it does they keep their mouth shut and keep sucking that orange dick.

The entire country is acting like that since they keep reelecting the tteasonweasels.

Saying anything more would get me a time out.

I can't stand this guy.. I never notice anything true coming from him.

His son Matt Blunt became Missouri's governor in 2004, somehow.. and he immediately pissed off everyone so badly, he didn't bother trying to run for reelection.

Going to be calling him just 'President' soon enough.

And then we can crow 'You can hate the man and still respect the office!'

I'll be deep in the cold, cold ground before I recognise Sen Blunt.

I hate to say it, but he is the best kind of correct. Biden has not been elected. The November 6th election does not to select a president, it is select the electors. Biden is not technically president-elect until the Electoral College Meats.

God damn you the best kind of correct!

"We rigged this election to Hell and back. Trump gets a lot of credit for how secure from Democrats actually voting, or their votes counting, but no matter how many votes we buried in landfills, how many we tried to get disqualified, how many people we disenfranchised, somehow there were just more votes. It's inexplicable. Democrats. Independents. Even Republicans. I mean, the rest of the tickets were fine, but how can you stand against such reckless exercise of the franchise? And for Joe Biden? He doesn't even have a podcast. Or a real estate empire. Or hordes of captive fans. His Twitter numbers are abysmal. We were caught entirely by surprise that democracy hadn't been properly throttled in its bed, and rest assured, we WILL be looking into these disturbing events."

And I could imagine him saying just that.. if he was under a curse that forced him to tell the truth at all times.

As a phrase, your description is perfectly honed.

The land of barbed wire and cedar posts will not change until our out-state skin tone starts showing on the color scale. Right now (and for the past 180 years) it has been paper-white.

Please, POC, migrate to out-state Missouri and marry our corn-fed republican daughters!
Rid us of our republican scourge, one heart attack at a time, until all these land owning father-in-laws are entered unto rest in our rich, Missouri soul!
Fifty miles in any direction from St. Louis or Kansas City still places you close enough to city services, but you will inherit hundreds of acres of land and hundreds of cattle within weeks of marriage!
You'll need to act quickly, because the pointy hat bedclothes team has still got a lot of power around here until the out state republicans are gone, but once you take possession of your new wife's farm our Castle  Doctrine will allow you to kill with impunity on your own property.

In all fairness and not to defend Blunt, but Hawley is a moron who wouldn't understand a push pull sign.

In all fairness, Hawley makes idiots look smart and Blunt makes Trump look... well, tarnished instead of completely corrupt.
