for pete's sake, my dog knew Trump would pull this shiat if he lost.
Easiest guy to read in the World.

Plenty of us knew it in 2016 which is part of the reason why we were so dismayed he won back then.

Either the President of the United States thinks he actually was cheated and really won or the President of the United States knows he lost but thinks he can cheat his way back into office.

Both of these possibilities make us look like a shiathole country. We might be one.

The Guardian? Well, sure, and it's also a time machine.

Yeah, sorry.  "The orange toddler is going to throw a tantrum and demand that everyone say he won" isn't exactly an outside bet.

Now, if they can tell us exactly which country he'll flee to in the wee hours of January 19, THAT would be useful information

Pretty much called it except for 2 things: the GOP State legislatures have (so far) resisted stealing the election for Trump, and in every lawsuit Trump has filed, the courts have (so far) resisted stealing the election for Trump.

We're rapidly approaching inauguration, and despite all indications now being a (relatively) smooth transition to Biden, I'll breath a huge sigh of relief when Biden is the President and Trump slinks off to become the Ultimate Florida Man.

Trump was whining about Fraud after the 2016 election... where he WON.  Granted, it was only because of our moronically stupid way of electing presidents, but still.  He won.  And he whined about that for 4 years.

If he's a sore winner, it's pretty easy to see he was going to be an even worse sore loser.

Maybe we need to air on Fox "An Election Carol". A lame-duck President is visited by three ghosts, starring Jimmy Carter as the ghost of elections past, Brad Raffensperger as the ghost of Elections present, and AOC as the ghost of Elections future.

A petulant entitled man-child is not difficult to read.

2020-11-29 11:54:24 AM
That was an interesting read and far more than just "Trump will deny the results and claim fraud." Seems the two things that avoided the complete doomsday scenario presented were (1) Fox calling AZ early putting Trumpers on notice and (2) how damn hard the counters worked in WI, MI, and PA to get enough results out to flip the first two and show a clear trend in the third before we got too deep into election week.

It's actually worse than that.

Trump cheated, he knows he cheated, and assumes that because he lost anyway, the other side must have cheated. When in reality, he is the least popular President ever and his loss was easily predictable and he probably didn't win the first time either.

Might? 266,000 Americans are dead right now because the "MUH FREEDUMBZ!!11!!1" crowd refuses to wear a mask and socially distance when in public.

We passed "might" about six months ago.

I was dismayed that so many people were stupid enough to fall for his shtick after all those decades of openly being a lowlife criminal scumbag. 2020 was even more disappointing for the same reasons, but certainly not unexpected.

This election is not over by a longshot! I demand a recount in all of the states that Trump won, such as Texas and Florida. There is no way the vote wasn't rigged in those states for Trump. Giuliani should be outraged with the voter fraud which occured there.

Probably some shi*thole country where the rich and powerful are never held accountable for their crimes beyond a very minor slap on the wrist and a fine that relatively amounts to pocket change, a country where the poor and exploited masses are fine with such a system because they think one day they might be rich and powerful and so will want the same privileges, a country where people are just fine with risking getting infected with a potentially debilitating or deadly disease as long as it means that the rich can get richer and poor black and other minority communities are hit hardest by such a disease, etc.

But where would he find such a country? 🤔

Wow, great call. Who could have possibly seen this one coming?

@AndrewSolender
·2020 isn't the first time; Trump has pushed some form of voter fraud conspiracy in at least 8 elections since 2012.

2012 Pres.
2016 Pres.
2017 Alabama Sen.
2018 Arizona/Florida Sen.
2018 Georgia Gov.
2020 NY-12 Dem primary
2020 Pres.

Not to mention the farking Emmy's that he called fraudulent because he's the oldest toddler and loves to throw tantrums.

Helps that be blatantly broadcasts his plans way before he actually tries it.

He was talking shiat about mail-in ballots way before the pandemic. I think his plan may have been more successful if they were at normal levels, just enough to put him over the edge as the winner but not disenfranchising a majority of the democratic votes.

Trump complained about fraud in the election that he WON. It doesn't take a psychic to guess that he wouldn't accept the result of an election that he lost.

From TFA:

Seems far-fetched? And yet the nation faced a nearly identical crisis in the notorious Hayes-Tilden election of 1876, when three separate states submitted conflicting electoral certificates.

The comparison to 1876 fails in this regard: there really was widespread voter fraud in 1876.  Democrats (yes, convicted felon Dinesh D'Souza, this was the Democrats) intimidated Black voters into either not voting or voting for Democrats.  It was probably the most truly corrupt election we've ever had.

Except quite a few shiathole countries do better with healthcare, wages, unionization, education affordability. I think (R)epugnants have turned us into uber-3rd world shiathole. Our healthcare is an embarrassment, access to education and higher education affordability is as well. We have a wealthgap usually seen in these same 3rd world nations during the cold war, the masses are slaves to a wealthy elite who own everything. Our infrastructure is crumbling (bridge collapse in Minneapolis has already been forgotten). To top if off, 50% of the citizenry is not just ignorant, but easily manipulated to vote against their own self interests. They actually swear allegiance to their party over their own freaking family.

In 10-15 years imagine this scenario, we are a failed state, massive debt with violent civil conflict, other nations swooping in to obtain power and access to resources to exploit. Russia, China, EU, Canada, etc fighting for control, and we are the battlefield. This scenario would be a laughable idiotic joke 20+ years ago, but now it is a high probability/possibility. (R)epugnants have destroyed the nation we once knew.

Just adding tool the pile-on. I'm pretty sure everyone predicted this, hence the oft-repeated exhortations to "vote in such large numbers that they can't cheat." Implicit in that is that he'd obviously contest everything.

None of this is surprising. He's a man who doesn't understand how anything outside his limited bubble works and he's lazy as fark. His entire grift is to get people to be as lazy as him and whine away all the existing societal constructs so that they can ostensibly start anew.

What he's done is brought all the stupid white lions out of the woodwork to assemble a Voltron of suck.

Well, to be fair to President Trump, this election was exceptionally unique and difficult to manage considering all the COVID related changes ... the social distancing, the mail in ballots, etc. I don't think he's being unreasonable by questioning the methods that were used to tally the votes in swing states.

Everyone with a brain saw this coming a mile away. At this point, you should look at which media outlets in your life could not or would not "call" the blindingly obvious, and drastically cut back your consumption of their content.
