Right now, the Broncos are planning on starting former Wake Forest backup QB Kendall Hinton, who as of yesterday was on their practice squad.

So do I.  Instead, I get to watch Cleveland vs. Jacksonville, and then Mahomes vs. Princess Brady.

We keep saying the league will eventually get the picture...but they really won't. Not until 2020's Joe Hall doesn't come down for breakfast.

\craziest part of TLA: "The Metropolitans had only one substitute player, and the team was exhausted. On the last play, Cully Wilson went to the bench to be replaced by Frank Foyston. Foyston had scored nine of Seattle's 19 goals in the series, but by that point, he was unable to move and replace Wilson, leaving the team shorthanded while McDonald scored. Some players went to the hospital after the game, while others had to be carried home.

The Saints have Trevor Siemian on the roster, maybe they can let Denver borrow him for a game?

Saints fan here, and even I think this is crazy that they're letting the game go on today.  Come on, let the Broncos get an assemblage of a team together for, say, Tuesday.

I'm still confused as to why they're moving the Steelers/Ravens around in pencil on the calendar, yet are hard core about other situations.

Ravens at this point don't have enough players for a 53-man roster, even if you add all practice squad players.  Broncos only have COVID issues at one position (QB).  That's why one game is being moved and the other isn't.

Like I said in the other thread on the Saints punishment... eventually every team is going to lose a 7th round pick, making the punishment moot.

Ravens-Steelers is also a division game with serious playoff implications.  Consider that the Browns are now AHEAD of the Ravens in the AFC North and that Hell could still freeze over and put the last game of the year, Steelers at Browns, as the game that decides who wins the North and who gets a wildcard spot.

/the NFL knows if they kill the season with the Browns in the 8-3/7-4 range or especially having clinched a playoff spot they'll have an angry mob of Clevelanders hopping in their cars and driving to NFL headquarters and rioting in scenes that make the "Trump trains", BLM protests, and anti-mask demonstrations look tame in comparison...

They'll burn Cleveland to the ground first, after torching the river.

No, they're not that dumb and the river doesn't catch on fire that easily any more.

However we are playing @Jacksonville today, so if they call the season during the game Jacksonville can have their own Bottlegate re-enactment (presuming that there's any fans allowed in the stadium in Jacksonville let alone any wanting to attend the game).

They're probably worried that the rest of California will eventually follow suit and they'll have to move again. So they're just going to Freedomzona where they don't care about pandemics and don't have to worry about being shut down.

Steelers-Raven is an AFC powerhouse game and provides a higher source of revenue when televised.  that's my guess, anyway.

They brought it upon themselves by not wearing masks. NFL tells them to suck it up.

I don't necessarily agree, but that's what the talking heads are saying about the matter.

Not to get all political but I'd assume current governors of said states played a part.

We had Broncos season tickets in the 60's and 70's so I'm comfortable with this current Broncos situation. You know, total clusterfark, utter embarrassment, no chance of winning whatsoever. It's like going home.
