Good luck with that, as well as your upcoming sedition indictment. It's time these idiots faced consequences for their actions.

Farking anti-democratic jackboots.

Any idiot can introduce legislation that we all have to fill our underwear with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ride unicycles while playing the accordion.

Actually getting it passed into law is completely different.

Desperate measures seldom work

Always be wary of a military officer who thinks his way is the only way. I saw like 10 minutes of their stupid hearing and this guy thinks he's a god. He worships himself. He also pronounced coup as coop. So, he's a goddamn idiot.

I fear him not.

coup coup cachoo...

don't these idiots have anything better to do with their time?

The GOP is continuing to prove the old adage that states are the meth labs of democracy.

2020-11-28 10:00:01 AM
Soooo... a resolution that would need to be passed by both PA state houses and signed by the governor?

Good luck with that.

Legislation...?

PA's been certified. Electors are already chosen. This attempt to undo all that will die on Monday:

A spokesman for House Speaker Bryan Cutler, R-Lancaster County, said Cutler was not involved in writing the resolution. Cutler also has not scheduled any session days to consider it before the session's end.

A spokesman for House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff, R-Centre County, repeated on Friday what his caucus leaders stated earlier; they are standing by tradition of the popular vote winner in the presidential race getting the electors.

The angry losers making useless noises just to be assholes can be ignored.

The word tradition there is scary

They've exhausted the legal process and now are making fake resolutions which have no chance of passing ever.

This is so pathetic.

Indeed.
It is not tradition - it is the way our democracy works.

It's a French word. It translates into 'the gislation,' who we all recognize as Epstein's girlfriend.

Here's the thing, Skippy. The Constitution reserves me, as an individual, the right to fill my underwear with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ride a unicyclea while playing the accordion without any GOD DAMN legislation.

Those exact numbers - 1,823,148 mail ballots sent and 1,462,403 returned - are from the June 2 primary election.

Specifically, they are from this dataset: https://t.co/g14ApF4FTE

Michigan, Pennsylvania AND Wisconsin have Democratic Governors and Attorney Generals. Those state reps aren't paid enough to spend years in jail and not lose their homes. Good luck following through on your threat, dipshiat.

If you can't stand in court and deliver, don't try to f*ck with our elections.

Problem is, they never will.  That's EXACTLY why we're where we're at now.

A good part of the war-criminal Dubya's administration should have been tossed in the slammer or air-dropped in The Hague.  But NOOOOOO

You will note, America, that while men and women who care to steer our nation towards a future of prosperity and common wealth, do so in a dignified and civil manner.

And whiney little c\μnts who want to profit from ignorance, and use religious superstition and blind nationalism to their personal advantage will tweet on social media and yammer on "news" programs about how they have suffered personal injustice, rather than attempt to maintain any personal dignity.

These are the men unworthy of a duel.

They are the snake oil salesmen of politics. The carpetbagging rathscallions of greed who deserve scorn, ridicule, and a singular day in court before being soundly punished for compromising democracy.

Just because it's doomed to fail doesn't mean it's not worth naming and shaming the elected politicians who are trying to overturn an American election.

Neither house of the PA legislature is scheduled to convene currently (though I believe they could reconvene before the end of the session).

The session adjourns on Monday & the new session doesn't start until Jan 7. The only person who has power to call a special session is PA Governor Wolf (D).

I was browsing Craigslist recently and saw an accordion with MIDI output. I have now officially seen everything.

Obviously won't work, for the reasons people have pointed out. But, even if it never even gets voted on, he'll probably be able to say, "I voted to overturn the fraudulent election," and it could save him from any potential of a primary challenge. So, it may have bought him that, at least.

The precedent has been set though.

Republicans in PA, MI, WI, and GA are all signalling that they are perfectly fine with getting rid of this whole democracy thing.  Conservative extremists are echoing that too.

It's going to be really difficult to put that toothpaste back in the tube.
