A food bank could've probably stretched 5 large a lot farther. But the deposit was probably toast anyway so they made the best of it. Plus tax deduction.

Wanna know how I know you've never fought with a caterer to get a deposit back?

Wanna know how I know you didn't RTA?

So she and her now-husband persuaded their caterer, Big Delicious Planet, to use their $5,000 deposit to package Thanksgiving meals for 200 clients

They knew the money wasn't coming back so they repurposed it.

Leave it to fark to sh*t on a feel-good story that resulted in 200 people getting a decent meal on Thanksgiving

This dude picked the right girl. She could have gone full bridezilla and demanded her 150 person wedding, COVID be damned.

"Bugg works as an outreach worker at the non-profit Thresholds, which helps those with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychiatric conditions."

Yeah, clearly they're only helping people out of a need for attention.

/That was sarcasm

Came here to save that. The caterer could have been quite a bit more human, and got a lot better press, if they made more plates and didn't pocket so much of the deposit.

Did they donate the money, or was it non-refundable?
BIG difference.

Ya know. I've been engaged to a split personality disorder.

I'm bipolar as shiat. You can definitely function and kick the shiat out of society to fit in if you try.

It ain't fun. But you can absolutely act like you pretend in polite society.

Think the worst I ever get is at work when someone telling me they're gonna beat the breaks off me for mouthing off. "I'll probably enjoy that. And only one of us is walking away"
"I don't care if its working hours!" "Yup neither do i"

Wow fark. Let's shiat on people for making lemonade out of lemons.

Wow, what a couple of assholes. Trump's got legal bills and these two China loving commies give $5 grand to Marxist, Nazi, socialist, fascist, commie, bleeding heart, lazy, want everything for free libs?

Biden hasn't even taken office yet and this is what's happening...  It's a sad day America, sad day

These people are attention seeking whores for highlighting this just to try and make themselves look "cool", when their shiatty wedding that was probably going to lead to divorce was cancelled.

The caterers are assholes for expecting to not go bankrupt and expecting to pay their staff, all because they weren't smart enough to have work at home tech jobs like most Farkers instead of shiatty hospitality jobs.

The hungry eating the meals all have useless degrees in underwater basket weaving and deserve to be pitch forked into an incinerator instead of mooching.

Santa is an alcoholic Norwegian pedophile invented by Scandinavians as an attempt to introduce children to pedo herd immunity.

Your mom is going to die choking on her own fluids, and Fark will be there to piss into her mouth as she gasps for her last breath, and she deserves to die because she isn't an autistic introvert loner who hasn't stayed in the basement since January.

Fark 2020 ladies and gentlemen.

This couple didn't just donate money to the hungry. They began married life by standing up to at least one of their four parents. Anyone who has ever been married knows in their gut that at least one of those parents was aghast at the idea of donating what could have become the seed money for the first house, or a nice start on the retirement fund, or a grand first anniversary trip. It took guts and generosity to donate that money.

I pray this couple's lives are full of joy, peace, and blessings. It looks like their off to a good start.
